Although the assembly directions are vague and minimal, my 17 yo daughter was able to assemble the piece in an afternoon. She's had some experience, but it is quite self explanatory to assemble. She wanted a small sofa that would fit in a 55 inch space of her room and this fit perfectly. it's comfortable to sit on, even though the cushions are thin. The only drawback so far is that it makes a squeaking noise when you sit. This minor defect will probably improve with time, I think.

We put it together very easily only needing a screwdriver in about 15-20 minutes My husband sat on it after assembly and it is the height of a regular couch, the size of a loveseat, nice material, and comfortable! Would recommend for an office, bedroom, small apartment, dorm room, any place you need cute comfortable seating with limited space! This will work in normal spaces too and not look small at all!
