I think we’ll like it once we can get weights and actually use it. I now see in the description it says that weights are not included (I did not see that when I purchased), and since that is indeed the case, you should remove the pictures that show weights. Very misleading.

I purchased this machine and I do love it. It is well built and sturdy while at the same time not taking up too much space. As for assembly, not too bad. Took me a few hours, but the nuts, bolts and washers we not labeled like many other projects I've done. So if you are not well versed in what m12 hex means it could be a little bit of a guessing game. As for the actual assembly, it is fairly straight forward. May take extra time to decipher the diagram but it is doable. Overall it is a good machine ... show more

I love this new addition to my home gym! I have been able to regain my lower body strength in just a few months (I cancelled my Y membership during the pandemic). The wooden shipping crate was well designed and the contents well organized, no parts were damaged or missing. I had to uncrate the parts where Amazon dropped off the crate so as to carry them (piece by piece) to the basement where my gym is located. The crate was over 350 pounds (as the parts are made of heavy gauge steel... a very good thing)! All of the fasteners were well labeled (you will have to pay attention to using the correct fastener for the particular part being assembled) and the assembly instructions and online video were very helpful. It was quite a lengthy process to assemble the machine taking me a good 5 hours to do so. I did this over a two day period. You will also need a helping hand to get the sliding press plate into place. It is quite heavy and has to be lifted up about 4 feet to get the rollers aligned into supporting rails. One installation tip that I can offer is to keep the frame bolts very loose until the sliding plate is installed. This will allow you to move the rails around a bit to help to align them with the sliding press plate rollers. This is really the only tricky step in the assembly process. The last point I would like to make is that while this is a very well designed piece of equipment, one feature needs to be improved. This is the locking mechanism for the press plate. It is extremely difficult to access the spring loaded lock when the plate is in the hack squat position. To get around this, I used a piece of electrical wire and looped it around the lock handle so I can easily pull it open (see pictures 2 and 3). TLDR: Great product, packed well, and easy to assemble. The parts were packed well in a crate about 7 feet long (see picture); it was taller than doorframes and barely touched the bottom of my basement ductwork. It was almost as wide as my doorframes too but, I was able to get it into my basement gym with a large hand truck (through a back door, not down the steps). I put it together by myself in about 5 hours. The hardest part was heavy slipping the sled into the rails. Back support was in the way. I used weight benches to prop up the rails high enough to clear the back support. Leaving the back support off may have been easier and I think doable. I'd try that if I had to assemble another by myself. The nuts, bolts, and washers came well organized, shrink-wrapped on a piece of cardboard with part number listed that matched part numbers in the instructions. The parts list showed some parts that seemed to be missing but, they were either pre-installed or plastic-wrapped in with larger parts. When installing the bolts that need an allen wrench, I highly recommend using a wrench version that allows an extension as the clearance to turn an L-shaped wrench is awful. I received the equipment on time and it was packaged very nicely. I was impressed with every piece being wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap as well as the wooden crate it was in. The directions were very clear and easy to follow. I liked that the nuts and bolts were shrink wrapped on white cardboard which was labeled great! I had no issues whatsoever with the instructions or labeling of parts. It took me less than 2 hours to assemble by myself! The assembly instructions were better than most you get with other equipment or furniture. I know this piece of equipment got less than stellar reviews previously for assembly instructions but after speaking with the owner of Anything Sports he let me know they have been updated and improved. As stated I had no issues whatsoever with them. 5 stars for instructions and assembly. Ive used the leg press multiple times so far and am very impressed. Its compact design is great for home gym use! It definitely meets my expectations so far. It far exceeds any home gym piece of equipment. It has a commercial grade quality . I started investing in my home gym during the pandemic and over the course of the last couple of years. I really missed the leg press. I have lower back issues so the leg press helps when I have flare ups and can’t work on squats. I also wanted the hack squat, so I looked for a machine that would fit in my home gym without taking up too much space. The equipment arrived in a nice box with no damage and every piece was included. It took me a few hours for assembling, and my son had to help me pick up the larger piece because it was a little too heavy for me. The only thing I would recommend is that they put the letters on the equipment to help with the assembly instructions, other than that it was easy to put together, I absolutely am happy with this equipment and it’s perfect for a home gym. ... show more
