Clear picture, good lighting. I bought this to see if my tub stopper was stuck, it was stuck and making my tub drain slowly, I was able to watch my metal rod hook into the stopper and fish it out. Repaired the stopper assembly successfully. I next used it to make sure the stopper depth was good. This saved me from blindly fishing for a stopper which would have been very frustrating and a call to a plumber to come fix it for me. I saved about $400 by purchasing this. Worth every penny!

The app is easy to use, if you can get past the user agreement... The only complaint would be to have a slightly smaller diameter < 9mm

The media could not be loaded. I bought this camera for two reasons. See fish and explore underground cracks. The clarity is great. It took two seconds to try it out. It doesn't seem to drain my phone battery. I used a narrow PVC pipe to submerge it and there were the elusive trout and other species. I am a retired horse vet and I know what good optics are. Very happy with my purchase.

I have had several endoscopes over the years and they always time out, don’t load or crash. Of course, that is when they are working at all! I haven’t had a good experience with my Samsung Galaxy S10+ or even the phone I had before that. But this Anykit Inspection Camera changed all that! Honestly, all I had to do was download the APP from Playstore and then plug the C-type connector to my phone and when the app pops up you select “always” when asked so you will be auto connected when the Cam in plugged in. That’s it! You immediately get a picture of whatever the little cam at the end of the cord is aiming at. You can use the slider on the cord to make the picture brighter or more dim if needed. With16’ of cord it can be used to inspect areas that are too far away and covered to see them. Ever lose something small that rolled under an appliance or under something that you can’t more? Or under a car seat way in the back, in a drain pipe, behind the fridge, under the washer or dryer? With this handy inspection cam you will be able to see in all those areas, no problem. What I generally have used them for over the years was to check out what’s going on in my bird nesting boxes without opening the hatch and scaring the birds…or having them take an early flight that they were not prepared to take….ask me how I know! With this Anykit endoscope I can again enjoy keeping an eye on the nestlings and find things that may have rolled under my fridge! What’s nice too is that you can take a photo, record a video and flip the picture if needed. One little thing that I did to help find the ‘top’ of the cam was to put a white dot of nail polish on the top side of the little cam. It was hard to try to find the upright position and I was looking at sidewards pics and upside-down pics… I found the top side and put a dot on it so that when I use the cam next I will know to hold it with the white dot facing straight up!

This arrived fast and in perfect order with good instructions. It's really just a matter of downloading the app and plugging the device in. It takes about 5 minutes to start using it. You quickly realize that it's like having an extra appendage that's 16 feet long with an eye on the end of it but without scaring people! Imagine all the things that need to be seen that have not been visible before because you couldn't get a line of sight on them. It really has endless possibilities! Everything works just as described: the 8 LED camera can be adjusted in brightness or turned off; you can take pictures or video that go right to your photo gallery for viewing later; and the cable is flexible but not limp. You can also view in real time right there on the screen of your phone or tablet of course. I have already used it to look down the pipe going from my lint filter deep into my dryer to see how much lint had accumulated in there. It showed me that there was a slight amount but nothing that would really stop any airflow. That was something that had been on my mind for a while since it did happen once before. I have a ton of other things I can now check with no problem. The only thing that makes using the device a bit tricky is the shortness of the USB C cable between the phone and the device. You have to get used to holding the phone or tablet while you are maneuvering the camera. That is a function of it not being attached by wifi or other wireless means, but it is also an advantage not to have to always ensure wireless connection availability. All in all, I think this is a nifty device that will be used often in our household. It becomes a must have once you experience the utility of it. I highly recommend it!
