Update: Anycubic team contacted me and sent a new filament. The support team is really helpful. I open the filament today I it’s messed up. I’ve been having problems with all anycubic filament. Don’t waste your money

I’ve tried this a few times in my printer. It was a few bucks per roll cheaper than the brands I usually buy and I’m printing things for fun so if I could save a few bucks, then why not give it a try. When I first opened the sealed bag and loaded it into my printer, I couldn’t get my prints to stick to my bed. I tried cleaning the bed, a few different bed and extruder temperatures and had very bad luck. When it finally did start sticking, I thought I finally figured out the right combo for this filament. However, my prints kept failing and I hear a popping or crackling sound while it prints. It also jammed my extruder. I tried putting the roll in my heater box thinking maybe it was sealed with some moisture in the bag that didn’t make a difference. Pulling out this filament and loading another brand, I was able to print the same thing without any issues. When I swapped back to this brand, I was right back to where I started. I bought 3 different colored rolls of this brand and had the same issue with 2 of them. After unjamming both of them multiple times, I don’t want to even try the 3rd roll. In my photos, yellow and brown are this brand and blue is Ender brand. Same type. Same print file. No issues with my blue print at all. Yellow and brown kept messing up. ... show more

Update - 3/5/26 Got another poorly wound spool this time in texture gray. I like my Kobra 3 printer but I haven’t had good luck with their PLA. Looks like it’s wound nicely but doesn’t spool off well, constant tangles. Haven’t had this problem with other brand PLAs Unfortunately this spool of yellow was not wound neatly and does not spool off reliably causing under extrusion, or no extrusion and failed prints. I trusted this wouldn’t be an issue and didn’t discover the defect until after return window was closed. In the future I will test all spools shortly after taking delivery. ... show more
