Very durable, good camera, lasts long on batteries. The software is simply and easy. Also as a company, it is made by Amazon, and that makes them a lot trustworthy cameras than many unknown overseas brands out there. You don't know who is watching those videos or can have access through the software and get recordings of your life. At the end, that software connects to a server and a human does have access to it. I would feel (relatively) safer with big-name companies than some unknown company. And as for the app, it is easy to use. The cameras are easy to install. You can view life. It also sends notification whenever there's movement. Great stuff but not for 24hrs surveillance tho! It only activates and records 30 seconds or so as soon as it senses movements. Other than that, you won't have any recording. You also have the option to record locally or on cloud. Very reliable overall!

I originally got a blink indoor mini with my Alexa about 2 years ago. I liked it so much that I ordered the blink outdoor cameras. They are small but they provide a great picture and are easy to set up. The quality is way better than I expected (for such a little camera). I love how it alerts me with movement and provides a clear picture. The batteries have also lasted for quite a while (at least 6 months). I plan on purchasing the solar panel adaptor to see how that works. Overall a great little camera system. Would highly recommend!

This camera works well with the blink app. Still a bit sub-par for Alexa integration. This is not the fault of this or any other camera. It is Alexa that is underpowered and overburdened with advertising. Still, since Blink is owned by Amazon I would have expected it to be more attuned to Amazon's alexa. Image quality is very good and night vision has been improved with this 4th generation to the point where floodlights are not really needed. One loss between gen 3 and gen 4 is that gen 3 would accept power from a small solar panel to avoid battery life issues. Gen 4 has a USB power input but no provision for rechargeable batteries so it will not work with a simple solar panel. I plan to add a rechargeable battery and USB 5v power converter to a solar panel in the future but until then we will see how long the outdoor 4's internal batteries last. Wireless connection to the blink sync module and to my WiFi are both very good. over about 50 feet to the WiFi router and 100 feet to the sync module.

Why: we needed eyes on the property while we were gone Pros: we bought these during a black Friday sale. He couldn’t beat the price for the quantity that we got. They shipped very fast and came in with zero issues. The ease of insulation was super easy. I had my husband put them up in the yard, and I set them up on the phone. I would say the total time that we spent installing was less than one hour for about five pieces of equipment. On the app the picture is high-quality. We have zero connectivity issues. since some of our cameras are facing our driveway, we have a lot of cars that go by our road and within the app I can cut out the Road area so that my phone doesn’t continually Bing because cars are driving by. It will only present a notification when a car comes into my driveway. Cons: while viewing in the app, we only get about a 15 second view until it says do you want to continue watching. That is very frustrating. I wish it just had a live feed. Also wish there was just a live feed view on all the cameras, at once, on the apps, home screen of my cameras. it is not easy to go back and see what was previously happening on the cameras. I put a USB port into the blink home connection pod so that I can go back and view anything while my cameras are “armed”. The night vision isn’t very clear but it does its job
