I've been using the ANYCUBIC 3D Printer Resin for several months now and I'm extremely satisfied with its performance. The resin produces high-quality prints with great detail and accuracy. It's also very easy to work with and provides consistent results. The 405nm wavelength is perfect for my SLA 3D printer and the UV-curing process is very efficient, allowing me to print faster and with less waste. I bought this with a set of resin dyes so that I could make custom clear colors, and it's been working fantastically! The most interesting side effect is once the resin is colored, I obviously can't return it to the bottle of pure clear, so I have a waste bottle for any left over custom colors, where they all mingle together in a murky slurry of hues. Currently it's a dark greyish green. Great for prints you don't care about or that you plan to paint anyway. I've found the exposure time to be 5sec per layer, which is a bit longer than the listing would suggest, but that's what works for me. I have used a few different resin brands and always find myself reaching for the Anycubic brands. It is a well-trusted brand and provides some quality prints. Just be sure to dial in your print settings as well as your post-processing and you'll be happy.

I have had 0 problems printing the the Clear anycubic resin on my ELEGOO Saturn 2. It did yellow on beefy parts so just be warned I’m not sure if that’s a setting on resin specific!

    • Picture is a little misleading, resin printers on the opaque side. Perfect otherwise.

Adheres excellently and is worth the price for the amount you receive, definitely easier to use then the grey formula, however the picture in the listing is a lot more solid then how opaque my prints came out. This isn't a problem for me but might be for some who want a solid black layer to paint over/have as an undercoat. Heavy smell, but normal for the product, clean up was easy and resin isn't too sticky. Would appreciate an easier to remove seal, however, given the nature of resin. ... show more

So this is pretty much the only resin I have used at this point and I've decided that I need to maybe try some others. That said this resin isn't bad but it has a strong smell. The resin itself seems to be pretty good though and does print pretty well as long as you make sure to store it properly.

For the most part I've had decent experience with Anycubic's resin. I've messed with the basic printer settings to hone in on what generally works best for me. I rarely experience failed prints anymore, and when I do it's typically because I've pushed the FEP too far or failed to build a support on an isolated corner bit and suffer sag. Regardless, of the three brands I have tried, Anycubic is my least favorite. It has the strongest smell, takes a bit longer to cure, most viscous, most prone to inadvertent stress fracturing, and it's spendy. Ymmv, but I honestly prefer the competitor's resin for everyday prints as it's much more forgiving or at least has a broader range of effective settings, plus I can save $4/liter on retail pricing in addition to what I save having to build fewer or less dense supports and experiencing fewer overall failed prints. ... show more
