I dont leave reviews often but I hope this will be able to help someone. Bought this machine in September and have only had issues since. I've always only used anycubic because I love the build volume and I was excited about upgrading from my Anycubic Kobra Max 2. For about a month it worked great then issues started to show up as soon as I updated the firmware. Practically right once the return window closed. First issue was the homing wouldn't work and then it would try to run off the x axis track causing it to try to break itself and jam. I thought maybe it was the firmware and attempted to reset which was nearly impossible to do/find how to do. Factory reset the machine as well, did not work. I tried to diagnose the issue even to the point of buying a replacement print head (for an additonal issue of clogging and hoping that it would fix the homing issue). The next issue was that the machine would not go back to home when you extract the filament and then try to run off the track again. After that it started to not go back to home if you wanted to print something again without manually moving the print head and bed back to start. If you manually move it back each time it knows where to start. Which has been so frustrating trying to figure out what is wrong! Now im thinking that it may be the x axis cable or motor, im not sure. Cable was unplugged and plugged in again, doesnt seem to be damaged unless I move the whole machine around which is incredibly heavy and im gonna need help to reach it at all. I dont like the fact that compared to the 2 its hard to get at anything to tweak or repair. It's covered in mostly a plastic shell. I have the 2 with over 300 hours in printing and have been able to repair it with ease. This one, its like a daunting task to fix anything. While the auto leveling at first was wonderful sometimes its an issue as I cannot edit the z axis while printing. Not a huge issue but its annoying. The good, I do like the print quality. Its quieter and smoother when it does work. I really want to like this machine. I love anycubic products and want to keep using them but im frustrated at how this one is preforming so far and honestly at this point I wish I could return it.

I am new to 3D printers so many of the problems was due to the learning curve involved. This printer was easy to assemble and set up. The printer itself is straight forward and easy to operate. But there is a lot to learn if you have never used a cad program and also the slicer you choose to use with the printer, that is where you will spend your time and frustration. I have been in High Tech Manufacturing most of my life and I was impressed with the design and simplicity. I bought this with the ACE 1 Pro which I will review separately. But the printer had trouble changing filament reels. Customer service was great and stuck with me as we tried to figure it out. The print head is a new design and believe that this was a new problem for them. They had me try a lot of things and sent me several different parts to replace. I also notice there was several firmware upgrades during this time. As we went through this process I started understanding the printer. There was one adjustment on the print head I asked about but don’t think they knew anything about it. I finally just made adjustments by trail and error and it has been working fine ever since. I had taken the original print head apart after they sent me a new one and found the adjustment was for the tension on the filament extruder. I believe it was a simple adjustment that hasn’t caught up to the customer service department yet. Since then, I have been designing and printing RC boats, organizers and a printing someone else’s Chess Set design. I did find for some prints you need to use a 3D printer glue on the build plate. But as I said this is part of the learning curve if you are new to 3D printing. I don’t have any experience with other 3D printers but believe this is a great printer. I only gave 4 stars because of the 1 problem, but would give 5 stars to their customer service.

Updated anycubic made good had to do a replacement of the whole unit but was faster than waiting on the part the also mad things right and offer spare parts when they were available for free. Customer support was good kind and prompt
