This tripod is great! Only thing that can be a problem at first is that spreading the stand out can be tricky. It would be good if the instructions were more detailed where this is concerned, but once you open the stand the first time you see that it's really easy! Now the good parts! The holder is secure and can rotate so you can take portrait or landscape shots easily. As a stand, it can be raised to a decent height so you don't need to find a chair or stool or use a counter which can't be moved. It's also very stable and holds the phone well. As a selfie stick, it extends to a decent length. The remote works quite well and has it's own spot on the tripod, where it fastens securely for transit. It also paired with my phone very easily and the instructions for the pairing were very good and specific. The remote comes with battery already installed and you are also given a second, replacement battery as well. And the remote works well in taking pictures once paired with your phone. Finally, the tripod packs quite small and is quite light so it can be easily packed for travel. Just all around great and you can't beat the price as well!

Bought this selfie stick/tripod for a family vacation. It is sturdy and easily fit my phone with a thicker case. Even though it is not a gimbal, I used it to record video as I was walking and it produced great results. Great for family selfies, vlogging, taking photos. Small, so easy to store. I highly recommend for the quality and price.

So I am totally excited for this product. I’ve had several tripods with ring lights. Something always breaks on those. Those one feels nice and sturdy. It can also be used as a selfy stick which is super awesome. I read the description of course before making my final purchase. But seeing how tall this actually goes amazes me and that the bottom seems to hold it quite well with the ground coverage. The bottom isn’t small so this is not for small spaces. Everything works immediately. It comes with a charging cord for your lights. You can only do one at a time. I don’t know how useful they are. I took a photo of myself and the lighting wasn’t what I hoped it would be, but that’s not why I bought it. I’m so exciting using the remote too. It either stays in place for the selfy stick use or you can take it off when using as tripod. It links super quick and easy to your phones Bluetooth. It worked right away and I was able to take several pictures. Finally this thing is small and compact compared to my other tripods and ring lights. I love this. Makes for easy storage. Can fit in my purse or diaper bag or day bag depending on the day and what we are doing.

Believe it or not this is the first selfie stick I've ever purchased so I knew very little about what to look for. I technically didn't buy it for selfies but instead for taking photo's of out of reach places. I photograph mausoleum crypt plaques and some are up extremely high. Even on a ladder I can't get clear enough photo's. But with this stick I can extend it out pretty far so taking the pictures are a breeze! The remote is pretty straight forward how to set up. I haven't used the tripod option yet but did test it's stability. Like many others have said, it's less sturdy the higher you extend it. All in all I would recommend this product.

This tripod is so lightweight that the wind or a slight breeze actually blows it down when you’re setting it up to stand... I only got to use it for half a trip because the wind knocked it off a high cliff, causing it to fall into a body of water. I’m serious. It was a real “gosh darn it” moment and unfortunately, the tripod was not retrievable in the end! Even though it was NOT a sturdy one—I did like how compact this tripod was. Packing it in my small daypack and taking it along with me to different hiking spots was incredibly easy. The bluetooth control was my favorite feature of this product and I liked how there was a convenient spot to store the control on the tripod as well! If it weren’t so lightweight or if the stand itself wasn’t so thin, I’d definitely still have it and would more than likely be rating it a 5 star gizmo. But because of this flaw, it’s truly a 3 out of 5 at most.

Just got it and out of the box….wow! All in one clever unit. It’s part metal-strength where it counts, part plastic where lightweight and comfort are concerned. They solved the problem of weight rotation using opposing grooves as “keys” to keep the rod extension from turning. Synchronized with my phone 1-2-3….and it fits my cam gear case! I do have a complaints; The remote isn’t rechargeable, but powered by watch battery….and a size I don’t already have spare of. About to do summer road trips so I’ll update this after some road testing. Be safe be well !
