I bought 3 of these in a large ( what I normally wear). When I initially put them on, they were too long, although the fit was OK. I went ahead and washed them and Put them in the dryer and then tried them on again at this time. They were perfect. The length had shrunk up enough to where they were exactly right for me. I am 5’1”. I generally wear wedges so they seemed good. The two solid colored ones seem to shrink a little less than the one with the print. The materials are similar, but not exact. I didn’t notice any fading. I’m not worried about the zipper because I don’t have to undo it to Put on the overalls. They’re very comfortable. I have no complaints and I’m looking forward to wearing them.

These are so cute! I wanted a baggy fit and went with a large. I'm 5'4" and the length was perfect. I liked them so much I purchased another pair for myself and one as a gift for a family member. The fabric is slightly different between the patchwork prints and solids, but still both light and airy. Very comfortable for summer days. Will be a good transition item for fall too. The solid color seemed to run a little longer, but still fits well. Perfect item for the price!

heed the shrinking reviews!!! i purposely bought 1 size up. i have other clothes of similar fabric that wash/dry fine so i thought what the heck. prior to washing, it was super roomy and legs were long enough to need rolling up. crotch was low even on shortest strap buttons. washed and dried on delicates. it shrunk to slightly loose around the middle, straps shorter, legs now up to ankles, crotch still low ;) i really wish i took before and after pics. the fit difference was shocking! but in all fairness, the tag does say dry clean for best results. so, i can still wear it but i want it looser for the summer heat. and i like it enough that i’m going to order in another color to try washing and line drying. fingers crossed! for reference, i’m 5’-4”, normally a 16/18 in pants, 40b in bra. XL out of the bag, fit as baggy as i wouldve liked, but legs were long. didnt want to risk shrinking so returned. XXL out of the bag (which i kept and washed), described above. honestly, with the amount of shrinking, i wish they had XXXL.

TLDR: Don't buy these unless you normally wear petite sizes; the sizing chart references the dimensions of the product not the person; size up if you have any kind of a butt or belly. These overalls are pretty much what they're advertised to be, as far as design and material goes. Good enough quality to make my mom happy anyway. Seeing her experience I figured I'd buy a pair for myself. Here's the problem. I'm 5'10" and she's 5 inches shorter at 5'5". She also wears a small/medium and I'm a 2x in most clothing, sometimes (rarely) a 3x. Now I did look at the size chart but it wasn't clear whether the measurements were referring to the person who would fit each size, or the dimensions of the overalls themselves. I took a chance and purchased the 2x because it's the biggest size. I'll admit straight off that this is partly a case of user error, but I'm still docking points because these overalls are just so short! They fit my petite mom great (she also has zero butt and a flat belly), but that means either you have to be a short person to fit these unless you want flood pants. The other reason I'm docking points is because of sizing inconsistency. My mom normally wears a size medium, she bought a size medium, and they fit her perfectly. I normally wear a size 2x, I purchased the 2x, and they were horrendously ill-fitted. I have a bubble butt so of course they were tight across there, but I have an average tummy for a person my size and they were also tight across there. My boobs are actually small for a person my size and that's the only place they fit OK. The only reason I was able to put the pants on at all is because of the pleats, but those are meant to be loose, not make the whole thing look like a maternity outfit. Finally, the length from crotch to shoulders was very petite and even on the loosest button setting they were riding up my backside and I had to pull everything tight to be able to fasten them. Sad because they're actually really cute.

I’m in love with these overalls. They are comfortable, cool, flattering, well made and fit nicely. The fabric is sturdy cotton that breathes well and launders even better. At night, I wash them by hand and hang them in the shower dripping wet. By morning they are like new, without a wrinkle. I wash them about every third time I wear them. The buttons are very nice and sewn very snuggly. I get all kinds of compliments, from men too. I’ve tried the cheaper ones, and they aren’t as good. I usually wear a large or extra large in pants. The extra large in these looks better. I think they would make excellent maternity pants. Maybe not all 9 months for some future moms, but pretty darn close. Love, love love love ‘em!

I wasnt sure what to expect being 5'9 woth a long torso. I got a large to be safe and they are roomy enough to not pull anywhere, and still very lightweight! The only downside for me is the buttons instead of hooks for the straps, but that seems to te the trend for fashion overalls. The legs are very wide and at my height they just brush my ankles. Peefect for summer but if you like them longer, these aren't it unless you're short. They do pass the sit test, even though there is zero stretch to any part of this. I probably could have gotten away with a medium, but I wanted them roomy. Overall (hardy har har) would recommend!
