Very well made, sturdy task stool
I was so pleased with how well made all the parts were, and how easily the stool went together. I've done many assemblies of office chairs with casters, so it was easy for me. It is very stable and rolls very well on carpet. It doesn't roll well on super plush carpet while sitting in it, but it rolls easily by me using my hands to direct it to where I wanted it in my office. Once seated I never felt like it might tip over, but I wasn't trying to roll anywhere nor was I leaning over to pick something up, or leaning to reach something. The seat swivels easily without any hitches, and the seat raising and lowering piston handle was easy to reach while seated, and operated smoothly. The lowest height was perfect for me, even though I'm 5'2". There is no back support on a stool, so just wanted to be clear about that. However I got this type of seat because I find it's good exercise for me to use my core muscles to support my back. After reading some previous well-thought out reviews, I tried sitting with it in the "saddle forward" position and then flipped it around and sat with it with the saddle to the rear. Both were very comfortable, and likely each person will find a direction that works best for them. I couldn't be happier with the quality and the price point. **I would like to point out that this is not a medical mobility stool. Don't buy this assuming it's safe as a mobility or stability stool.** It IS a very comfortable task chair for those needing just that.

Excellent stool for hairstylists!
As a hairstylist, I’m always looking for ways to save my back. This saddle stool saves me when I’m doing my extension clients. An excellent price and the wheels are so smooth and don’t get stuck. It’s a really comfortable stool and I love how high it goes. Took me about 5 minutes to put together. Very sturdy stool!

Wish I'd gotten this sooner ...
A breeze to put together. Took about 25-30 total minutes after doing a "dry run" assembly -without screws - on the base because I found that different arms fit tighter on different base spokes. I just moved them around until they all fit with similar 'snugness', then screwed the base and arms together. Very comfortable for my larger frame and, so far, really sturdy and feels like it will last a while. Rolls super smooth & easy so I imagine it might shoot out from under you if you plop down on it quickly. The lowest height is perfect for me. Will be getting another to use in the basement for when I do laundry. Good quality for the price. Highly recommend this stool.

Nice home office chair
Nice rolling chair i got to replace my yoga ball. Using it for my home office, but would be nice if it went lower. The height with the wheels brings it to a higher than expected sitting height at its lowest setting. Overall good value. I find myself sitting upright, and mostly comfortable. Wish the padding on the rear side was further back.

Comfortable Roll Around Stool
I use this saddle stool for playing guitar. My floor is luxury vinyl tile, and the nice big smooth wheels allow scratch free movement, not like those cheap plastic wheels that come with most chairs and stools. I find the saddle type stool is more comfortable than the drummers stool I was using. I can sit on the stool for hours and stay comfortable. It is height adjustable.

Not as rated, wheels don’t move freely
Rated for 450lbs. The stool doesn’t move freely for user 200+lbs lighter. Moves freely if there’s no one sitting on it.
