I usually buy cat posts from Ross seeing as how they were decent sized and at a great price. This does have to be assembled but I have a husband so I let him do it 😅 it looked very simple and was quick. I have one regular normal sized cat and then there's my Garfield. With that being said I think it's fair to assume everyone should now know he's a fairly big guy given his name 😮💨🫢 They both like the post and scratch regularly. The media could not be loaded. My cats love this!! I had to buy a replacement after the last one I had was torn up by my boys….lol The youngest guy (grey cat) was all over this once I put it together. See his video cause he’s hilarious. Funny thing is I forgot to put the pink middle piece in so I had to unscrew it & place it along & I had missed putting the little fuzzy ball in the bottom base board. Super easy to put together but I did notice that on the instructions they had labeled a piece with the wrong letter but this thing is so easy & quick to put together you don’t even need the instruction’s. My middle cat bit thru the elastic string that the mouse is attached to within seconds after inspecting his new scratching post out so the elastic strings aren’t very durable but what elastic strings are? The rope is hard so it makes a good scratcher when the cats rub up against it. My boys & I highly recommend this product, it’s a must buy if your cat/kitties like to scratch stuff. ... show more

I bought this great scratching post for my recently adopted kitten. She used it immediately. She would lean up against it and scratch away. It's good quality made with sisal. It's a beautiful beige color. The base of the post has a really soft bottom that my kitten likes to lay in and sit on. She has fun playing with the ball attached to the top,and the toy mouse attached to the middle. You do have to put it together,which was pretty easy. And trust me if I can do it ,pretty much anyone can. I wanted my lil fur baby to have a nice post but I'm also on a budget and I think I got it for like $20. Excellent deal for the post. My Kids put this together (With the help of their pops) and my cats LOVE it! The little coconut balls is one thing the kitten loves. My big cat lovese the rubber scratcher on the side. My kids did pour a whole bottle of cat nip on it haha, but that just added to my cats loving it! The other day my kids put it in the middle of the living room and lol my big older orange cat was rubbing on it.
