Pros: -- These are the only ice skates I could find to fit my petite toddler -- the double blades are nice for beginners -- they adjust to fit a wide range of sizes Cons: -- the plastic buckles are too weak and the straps loosen quickly. I bought these for my 3 year old daughter just starting to learn how to ice skates. She loved it compared to the rentals. More comfortable and great support. The adjustment straps to tighten and loosen skates don't always work. They slip out and make it next to impossible to tighten them up as much as they need to. I guess I should have invested in a more expensive pair, but for the toddler, first time on skates and not sure if they will even continue with it I wanted something inexpensive ... show more

These ice skates are so adorable! They are great skates for beginner skaters. They have a double runner at the bottom for better stability and balance. These skates are sturdy! The base is made from a hard plastic that can withhold a great deal of abuse. The straps securely hold your child's feet in place offering more security and balance and lastly, they are comfortable. My two year old niece has tried them on for fit and comfort and she already loves them! As season ticket holders of the New York Islanders hockey team, we will be skating with them on December 1st! She can't wait to hit the ice with her new skates and we can't wait to take her on the ice. These skates are helping us introduce her to ice skating in a fun and positive way.
