Sounds like a vacuum. Chip quantity per unit: 288 x BM1485. Rated Voltage: 11.60 ~13.00V. Operating Temperature: 0C to 40C. Network Connection: Ethernet (cable not included). Notes: 1. Due to the nature of these products, there are higher than normal restocking fees (typically 40%). The restocking fees are typically waived in the event that there is a provable failure within the first 30 days. In the event that you experience a failure, please reach out to the seller immediately so that we can begin troubleshooting with you and/or processing a return. 2. Each AntMiner L3+ requires NINE 6-pin PCI-e connectors for 12V DC input (must be very stable power supply) There are four hash boards that require two 6-pin PCI-e connectors each and one additional 6-pin PCI-e connector on the controller. All NINE 6-pin PCI-e connectors are required. Do not connect more than one PSU to the same hash board to prevent possible damage and instability. 3. Power consumption figures will vary with your PSU's efficiency, the ambient operating temperature and the accuracy of the power meter. 4. Power supply unit is NOT included. Bitmain recommends the APW3++ power supply for the AntMiner L3+. 5. AntMiners are LOUD. The L3+ sounds like a vacuum and is not recommended for use within homes. Many people use basements or sheds, but returns due to noise will be subject to the full restocking fee. Compatible Coins: Any coin based on the Scrypt algorithm. There are many dozen coins, but the most well known is Litecoin.

    • Powerful Scrypt Miner!
Awesome litecoin / scrypt miner! As of today (Aug 18, 2017) it hashes .58 or so Litecoin per day on the litecoinpool.org pool...and depending on the pool you choose you can mine other scrypt coins and potentially make more coin$! Hopefully litecoin price goes up soon to make it more worthwhile, at $45 per litecoin it'll take 192 days to get back the $5k I spent (assuming $0 in electricity...so it'll probably be closer to a full year to recoup original cost with electric costs, unless price goes up (fingers crossed)! There are lots of mining calculators out there to input your electricity cost, difficulty, price, to figure out how much you can make). The machines are a little pricey, but since bitmain has been sold out for over a month, I got one on amazon, and have not been disappointed. It is very simple to set up, just like other bitmain miners, I love their user interface. And, there are lots of pools to join, try a few out until you get the one you like, or switch to whichever scrypt coin is hottest! ... show more

Miner showed up nonfunctional. I received two of three miner. Worst experience ever minors were not you new they were used dead on arrival I would like a full refund.

    • fun little miners
not the most profitable but i like the diversity of them. and they are little quieter then my other miner and run much cooler usually averaging around 50degrees or so while my s9 around 80 degrees lol. they aren't working nearly as hard but i like the idea they can mine other coins. i actually have x2 of them n as a hobbyist they work great. one runs at 570 Mh the other at 540Mh both about .0008 a week on nicehash with my s9 i average around .0015 a week with all x3 miners. with allx3 miners about 80-90$ a week with BTC at 58,000. hope this helps so hard to find useful information these days. if you care to donate for my help BTC - 18S8o3aQsGF3h9Jyrku4Y9e9QBCwwPR4is ( ; ... show more

    • Disappointed all around
When I checked the website for warranty options I was informed the brand new Ant-Miner was out of warranty. The noise level is over 80 decibel's and the heat from these things will heat your basement like a sauna. Even with baffles installed, and inserted into a 19" rack the noise was well into 70+ and the heat needs to either be liquid or really cold air cooled. I purchased three and litecoin was the only option ... show more

Product works flawlessly out of the box. L3+ is easy to set up and quick to get up and working. The product is fairly loud (approx 75 dB), but quieter than the previous generation of ASICs. I hooked up an EVGA 1300W G2 power supply, also available on Amazon, and has no issues operating with this unit. Miner did not come with psu as said in description. Bought psu and 2 hash boards didn't work. Switched cables around and still had issues sometimes a third board wouldn't work. Sent unit back. Not to mention price was double retail.
