I have had these lights installed for a year now and have been pleased with their performance and quality so far. They were fairly easy to install, as long as you are familiar with basic house wiring. These are not the plug-in type. Installed them in the garage and they are much quieter and brighter than the old florescent light tubes I had before. No complaints or issues and I would buy them again.

I purchased a set of four of these lamps for an upgrade of the lighting in a 50+ years old 2-car garage. The ceiling had a single electrical box near its center that was switched, and fitted with a porcelain lamp bulb fixture. I replaced that porcelain fixture with one of these LED lamps after adding more ceiling boxes and wiring them to this center box so that all would be controlled by the same existing wall swtich. When I energized them for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised at the light output and wide beam angle. They are truly instant on, at least in warm summer ambient temperature conditions. I will have to wait for winter to see if that remains true in lower temperatures. They light up signficantly faster than some direct wired LED tube lamps that i purchased as replacements for old T12 fluorescent tube lamps and certainly than those old T12 tubes. These LED lamps have an electronic ballast mounted to the metal housing. So far, I have no detected any RFI/EMR interference of audible hum from them. The metal housing of these LED ceiling lamps is flimsy but adequate provided that multiple screws which are included in the package are used to secure them to the ceiling. Also included are plastic screw anchors for drywall. These are adequate, but very flimsy and unlike the typical USA made plastic anchors for screws to be set in drywall. These mechanical details are why I did not rate these lamps with 5 stars. I will consider purchase of additional units of this LED ceiling fixture or perhaps the ones that are 5000K color temperature. These 4000K color temperature rated lamps had on their packaging a CRI rating of >90.

I have other LED lights that are starting to flicker and even strobe and will have to replace them now. These lights have been perfect. Our master closet and garage are both very well lit by these lights. I do recommend them.

Have these up for a few months now. I replaced some very old fluorescent tube fixtures so all the wiring was already in place, but I had to rerun wires anyway as the connection points for these new ones did't line up with the old fixtures (as others remarked). I was happy at first: Lots of bright light (so only suitable for garage or workshop) and the humming that was mentioned in other reviews was not bad. These units are made of 6 light strips, so they have 6 separate strips of led bulbs that provide the light placed in line and next to each other (3 on each side). 2 of them already stopped lighting up so there are dark patches in the fixtures. I am just assuming that more will turn to the dark side so I will have to replace the units again since there doesn’t seem to be a way to replace the broken strips individually. Build quality is bit flimsy, certainly compared to the solid old fashioned fluorescent fixtures I replaced. They were up for > 40 years.. ===== I added 2 stars for the great customer service! AntLux reached out to me and they did send me 2 new units. Internally, the hardware has changed slightly. Instead of 2 transformers for for the left and right side, there is just one now for both sides. The wires are a little longer now, but still only enough if you are planning to connect to the middle of the unit. On the sides there are cutouts, but you would need to run a longer cable to the center of the unit.

I have ordered these lights before and they shipped in good condition and looked great installed. This is why I ordered 4 more. This second order came in a box containing all four lights. The box wasn’t in the best condition. Once I got two of the lights installed, I noticed the metal covers for the center of the light fixtures were bent in multiple places. Due to the damage, the covers do not seal the light diffusers correctly, leaving gaps for insects. The lights do not look good by any means, but they are bright. I would have been completely happy with these lights if they did not ship damaged. The lights are not cheap by any means and should not look like I bought used merchandise. I would have already returned them, if I hadn’t installed two already.

Design makes it very easy to mount to ceiling and then wire connections. Much better than most that require hanging led strip while trying to make connections. Not quite as bright as I had hoped but would definitely buy again
