Color: Khaki Polka Dot
I bought the khaki polka dot version of this tie since I couldn't find this exact pattern made anywhere else. The colors are nice and muted (not something I usually go for but it worked for the outfit), and the dots are spaced out just right so that it's neither too tight or sparse. The other patterns look really nice from the listing as well, but I can't speak on how they translate to the actual item. The fabric has a nice textured cotton look that I tend to prefer, since a lot of cheap ties tend to go for that shiny freshman-year homecoming look that just looks corny. I do wish it was a bit longer - as a taller person I found that I had to use a ridiculously short length of the thinner end to get it to sit where I wanted it to. After some trial and error I got it, but it made the knot quite a bit harder to tie. It's also a bit skinnier than I prefer. That's my fault for not figuring out the exact width I typically prefer, but I would've liked something closer to 3". Overall, this is a pretty nice tie for less-formal occasions where you still need to look a little dressy. It's a bit on the pricier side for an amazon tie, but it's only a few bucks more than what seems to be the average. It's no better than your run-of-the-mill cheap internet tie, but I'd recommend it if you've done some shopping around and decided that you really love the pattern on this one. ... show more
