I’ve only used the anti theft box for 2 days but really love it already. Super easy to install and I don’t have to leave it at the place I’m renting because it was fixed to the structure. I can easily take this box with me to the next home and even use it if I upgrade my doorbell. It is designed so you can easily charge your doorbell and it comes on and off the door with the twist of a screw device. It attaches to the door securely and with in seconds. I had the whole thing put together in about 3 mins. So easy. If I could change anything I’d change all the openings on the side of the box that could allow critters to enter and make a home next to my doorbell. However, that’s not that big of a deal I got around it by putting my side pads in a ziplock to keep the dirt and critters out. Oh it comes with little pads so you can center your doorbell in the middle of the box. I have the newest Ring doorbell and it looks beautiful and safe in the box. I think everyone who doesn’t wire their doorbell to the homes internal wiring should get one of these. It would guarantee that your doorbell is never stolen or tampered with. ... show more

I purchased this mount because I'm not handy and I didn't want to drill holes in the brick wall. I knew it probably wouldn't fit the steel storm door but still purchased it anyway.     • Not totally easy to install but works
The media could not be loaded. This was not totally easy to install. The screws seem like they are very difficult to get in with just a screwdriver. I am not sure how anyone does this without a drill. I personally think they should add a tool like ring does to assist with screwing these in. Luckily I have a drill but it requires a lot more pressure to install the screws than an average screw hole. Other than that it’s perfect. We can still open and close the door perfectly. My only other comment is you will need a wrench or grip mat to twist it on to the door. ... show more

This mount was easy to install my Ring camera into and easy to install onto door (not much installing, more of just twisting the screw to tighten into place). This is a good solution for apartment living when you can't screw into the wall. At first glance it is a little bulky, but it is perfectly fine once it is mounted onto the door. It holds the camera into place and centered nicely with the padding that is included with the mount. From the inside, the back panel sticks out slightly with the tightening screw, but it gives the flexibility for people with wider doors. ... show more

I think its done a good job at holding up my device and it's sturdy. They include foam to put on the sides and back to guarantee a firm fit. Spend a good amount of time getting the perfect foam placement and remember what it looks like when you have to charge it.

    • Needs a gap between door and frame
I have to return it because there isn't enough of a gap available to have it on and have my door close. I would have to cut into my door frame and sand down an area. If it wasn't for that I would keep the product as it would meet my other needs.

I brought my Ring doorbell with me from another apartment. When I went to install it at my new place, I was told that I could not drill into the door, and the side of the door is brick. I was struggling to come up with a way to attach my doorbell when I stumbled upon this device. It solved all my problems, and was so easy to install!     • Fits my needs!!
I like the protection but wasn't able to use it on the side. This was for my back door which doesn't "require " my need to access the doorbell. It's almost unnoticeable which is "even better" and I can position it "where I want" the camera.
