We use water and glycerin as the solvents. Water is the best solvent, it's natural and extracts more bioactive compounds than any other solvent. WATER AND GLYCERIN COMBINATION is the primary source of solvent used to extract the oils and bioactive properties of the plant material. This is the best combination. RAW GREEN TEA Raw plant materials are never exposed to high temperatures during the drying process. COLD-PROCESS Heat and alcohol denature (KILL) the bioactive properties of the plant material. I use this in my DIY rosewater facial mist everyday. It increases the benefits of the rosewater. I also spray it on my face before using LED light therapy face mask because green tea extract speeds up the anti-aging and collagen production results of the led light therapy. Bottle was not sealed and cover not screwed on tightly. Leaked in the bag, evidenced by liquid discoloration on the paper that was in the bag with the bottle. Not a lot leaked out and could have been much worse. More concerning is that there is no seal so you can't tell if it has been tampered with. i never write reviews but this stuff is so great and so cheap. i recently bought the deesse pro LED mask from shani darden (yes, the insanely expensive one... quarantine purchases lol) and read a ton about how to maximize the effects. as somebody else in here mentioned, green tea is supposed to make a significant difference, and so far this stuff is working fantastically! also literally everything breaks me out and this hasn't yet so that's a nice plus ... show more
