I use a blender every day. Had a Nutra bullet that stopped working, but the worst thing is the rubber seal on the lids have to be painstakingly removed, cleaned and replaced for each next use. Hard to remove and replace the rubber seal. If you don’t know to do this, because it’s hard to see that there is a rubber seal. Food residue accumulates, so I had to buy new lids. As I didn’t know they were there I cleaned the lids, but not the rubber seals. One of the seals came loose. Tried a fork and a knife and a shish kebab skewer to try to get that piece back in and out without destroying it. The lid and the seal were gray. The residue was disturbing, had to order new part. The cup that holds the food is plastic, it comes with three, and two of them were cracked in the first month. The anthter blender looks lovely on my counter. it comes with a base, and a very sturdy glass upper piece and lid. Very easy to clean every time you use it. The price is just right, it pulses, has six stainless steel blades and multiple speeds. since I have to blend smoothies every day, it is nice, to have everything blended in two minutes. Then the top part gets removed and I pour out the smoothies. next step is I remove the upper piece from the base and pour in some warm water with a bit of dishwasher fluid. After a quick wipe of the outside I replace the upper piece and turn it on. After one minute it is clean, So I remove the upper piece and spray it down with my kitchen sink hose. The whole process just takes 3 to 4 minutes from start to clean finish. It is rated in the first 25 best blenders on Amazon. I would not buy anything else after having used the Anther. The upper piece made of sturdy glass is a bit heavy, so I wouldn’t trust children taking care of the process. I like a sturdy opera piece so this is really hardly worth mentioning.

It worked great a for light blending. It does not do well for frozen drinks! The ice (which was already partially crushed) overwhelmed the motor and smoke came from the motor. It finally quit working after about 2 minutes of trying to crush the ice even though I tried to stagger the pulses and stirred the contents several times. Spend more for a better blender with more voltage if you do heavy blending. Otherwise, you'll have to buy another blender to replace this one.

I've purchased a few "personal" blenders over the years for making my daily frozen smoothies and I've found the motor isn't strong enough and they break down pretty quickly. I decided to go back to a full size "powerful" blender so I researched several brand names as well as brands that I never heard of and am so happy with this purchase. The motor is strong and easily handles my daily frozen smoothie. Another feature that I like is the 'one-piece' glass pitcher, my last one unscrewed at the bottom and came apart to be cleaned, this is one piece and easily cleans up. If I had to name 1 drawback it's that the pitcher is a bit heavy, though it is pretty thick glass. All in all it's a great blender at a great price! 😀👍

First, let me say I'm returning an entirely different product to Amazon - it had 35000 Positive reviews, but come to find out that they give "incentives" for 5 star reviews. THIS review is on my own- the company has offered me nothing. I bought this blender to use for making juices that I'll can. Used it this morning for the first time- it got here a day early . It's easy to use, POWERFUL, chopped up the ice and turned out a wonderful smoothie for my breakfast. Cleaned up easily and this afternoon I'll start on vegetable juices to can and freeze. After a few weeks, I'll update, but this is VERY reasonably priced and performs beyond my expectations. I highly recommend it. I may try iced coffee smoothie next.
