The media could not be loaded. My son is weight lifting on a regular basis and has been bulking up to gain weight. He makes smoothies twice a day to add high calories to his diet to help him bulk up so I got this blender to make his life easier as he was using a personal size blender that was just big enough to fit everything he needed to make smoothies. This blender is slim and does not take much counter top space but it's big enough to hold many fruits, ingredients and ice in the jar. What I'm really impressed about this blender is the glass jar. It's super thick and heavy duty glass, which is much more sanitary compared to plastic jar and easier to clean up after using it. The jar is very heavy because it's all glass but it has very large handle to support solid grip. There's small lid on top that you can open and close to add food into the jar so you don't have to remove the entire lid. I only wish the lip on the glass jar was bigger and deeper as it's not wide and deep enough to pour the thick smoothies into the smoothie cup that it came with but this is not a deal breaker. It has 4 speed modes plus pulse mode for breaking the ice. 5 out of 5 stars. A great blender with quality glass jar!

I have had the same old blender for decades. It has never failed me, but it was getting so old that I figured I should get a new one. I was used to how it functioned and thought it was normal. When I received this brand new one in the mail, I was shocked. I couldn't believe how easy it was to use, how efficient it was at blending, and the value for the price! It is seriously like a rocket ship or something. If you are thinking about upgrading, now is the time and this is the one to upgrade to! You will not have any regrets, I promise!

I got this because my old blender broke. This blender is so powerful there is no comparison. Our family likes to enjoy fruit and vegetable juice every morning. This helps me out. I made a humongous smoothie also. My son loves it very much and it’s easy for him to use. It’s easy to clean and easy to use. It’s really affordable and is a great value.

Does what it says it does! You can click slow, medium, or fast to the right and pulse to the left. Boom. That’s it. Simple and sleek design and function. Those crazy blenders with all the buttons? Like you’re really telling me there’s a difference between chop and dice on a blender? It spins or spins. This blender gets that and you just control speed. You don’t have to figure out if you’re blending or Liquifying Other reviews have mentioned a burning smell. Nothing like that here. They mentioned it shutting off if you use it too long at a time? My kids use this. So it’s definitely ok there. The only reason I’m taking away a star is because, like every other blender, it gets cranky if it doesn’t think there’s enough liquid. You will have to mush down with a spatula. Does that get annoying? Absolutely. Have I had to do it with every other blender I’ve ever used in my life? You bet! So should you get this blender? Definitely! I’ll have to see what longevity I’d like but we’ve had it about a month of heavy kid use (it’s shiny and new and they’re making everything into a smoothie…) and there’s been no slowing down. So far, no complaints! Edit: it stopped working today. I’ve had this blender for 4 months and now it won’t blend. It turns on, but won’t blend. I moved this to 1 star. Not worth it. Don’t buy it. Try something else

Purchased this item this month. In less than a month the bottom of the mixer has started to chip away, apparently the friction between the moving parts caused this damage. It has been a great juicer for a short time. But now it is damaged.

I bought this blender in October and I love it. I have a small smoothie blender and it was not big enough for making gazpacho and it was not recommended to use with hot items. This blender has a glass carafe so it has a lot of uses. I've made gazpacho in it a few times already and it can puree the tomatoes, cucumber, onion and pepper pieces with some water in about a minute! I've had some full-size blenders with plastic carafes and they were much slower and would never be able to puree raw vegetables this quickly, if at all. To clean it I just add some dish soap to the carafe, run the blender and rinse. The power of the blender is top-notch, and the big glass carafe make it possible to blend soups (cooled down a bit of course to avoid over pressurized liquids) purees very fast. It's economical when you compare it to name brands with glass carafes that blend with this power and speed.

I like that this blender isn’t complicated knob-wise. It functions from slow to high blend effortlessly by either turning the knob left or right. I like that it is easy to clean and lightweight. It’s not bulky and doesn’t take up too much space. I use it to make smoothies and it works as it should for that purpose. Overall It works well and it doesn’t look cheaply made.

The blender works very well, powerful enough to make smoothies with vegetables, fruit etc. Easy to use with simple dial on the front. Blue light shows that it is ready to go, Suction cups hold to counter so feels solid, Glass pitcher is nice to have and clean and a plastic smoothie cup comes with it. Simple straightforward and powerful blender
