This area rug looks very nice — it’s got a minimalist boho vibe which is exactly what I was looking for to complete baby girl’s nursery. I wanted the white color but was afraid it’d get dirty too fast since we have kids and dogs. I opted for the beige color which I’m very happy with! The rug doesn’t shed and it laid out flat pretty easily (I used heavy boxes to weigh down the edges). My only complaint is that it had a really heavy chemical smell that just doesn’t seem to go away despite airing it out for weeks. I have left the window open in the room every night for weeks and the smell is still pretty strong. Placing it out in the sun might be a solution but it’s such a large rug and will likely get super dirty and dusty quickly if left outside. ... show more

This is a very nice rug and is perfect for rooms 10x15 feet. The color is an ivory white rather than a stark pure white and I love this. It is also slip resistance, however, it does come well-packaged and is rolled up tightly. You will have to put weights on all parts of the rug to properly flatten it out. ... show more

The rug is absolutely beautiful, but the smell! The worst off gassing I’ve ever experienced from a new product. Had to return it after days of it not dissipating at all, which is a real shame because I really liked the actual rug itself.
