Purchased four of these for our senior golden with mobility issues on our hardwood floors. Originally I figured they would serve this purpose and probably not last very long. The rubber backing worked great in helping him get up at different locations in the house. I was surprised at how well made these rugs are. Clean up was easy as well because dirt and debris stays in the fibers above the rubber backing and is easily hosed off along with a little rug cleaner. They are so nice looking that my neighbor asked for the link to order some for herself. Already considering further purchases. ... show more

We are using this rug on the floor where our dogs like to sit at the top of the stairs. It cleans beautifully with a vacuum cleaner, and the pattern hides dirt. It is truly no-slip, at least on hardwood floors. The dogs can get up quickly from the rug, and it does not move. I have not tried to wash it in a washing machine yet, but it really stays clean with just vacuuming. Thinking of getting two smaller ones for the kitchen. ... show more

The pattern is cute, and I really like that is non skid. However, even for a low profile rug this has absolutely no cushion to it. It is as hard as my hardwood floors. Will return it. I expected some cushion at least.

This rug is the right thickness providing just a touch of padding on a hard surface. I've only had to vacuum it. Since I just got this rug, I really can't speak to it's durability.
