I wanted this rug to help our little dog get on the bed. He needs some traction. This works well for that purpose. It is a bit scratchy but I would use it in an entry hall or under a table. This rug was as described and works well as a mat by my front door. The door easily swings over it because of the low profile, it's is easy to clean, no shedding, doesn't slip when the dog runs by. Definitely doesn't have a plush feel but that was not expected - would be good in kids playroom. My only disappointment is the design is more muted/less defined than I expected. Still, a good value and would definitely recommend if you're not looking for something plush and "expensive looking". ... show more

My dogs are insane and when they run to the door the rug doesn’t stay down and gets all bunched up. Just noticed it already has a hole too! Maybe I should’ve bought a pad for under it but I shouldn’t have to if it was a decent weight. Only lasted a couple months. It got 2 stars for a nice design.
