I do my own sleeving and can identify quality parts. The Wire is 16 gauge and white wire was use which works with light colored sleeving. The sleeve is a tight weave which makes a huge difference! Extra cables so you have matching sleeve for other components. As for the comment about being stiff: That's the nature of PEX sleeve. There's no way around that. If you want something more flexible use paracord sleeved cables. Quality paracord sleeved cables aren't available on Amazon. Not so great: Cable sleeves are crimped into the molex crimp connector. I prefer melting the sleeves via heat shrink and then removing the heat shrink. This is a tedious process but that's what I like. The cable inner and outer are the same length (no arc or rainbow as some call it.) I had to shorten them to achieve the fit and look. The crimps aren’t the best... and worse is the quality of the actual connectors. The 24 pin had multiple pins that were off center and made it impossible to connect even causing me to abandon trying to force anything together. Pins constantly kept getting pushed out of its housing... and with 24 pins it was just a nightmare. The CPU power was the same... right off the bat one pin backed out and I just gave up at that point no need trying anything else. Once the pins were pushed out I inspected closer and found the copper wires to be a bit messy and not really in good contact with its pin. I’ll never go again with these... spend a little more for better quality and reputable build or just don’t bother with extensions. Also worth noting, I abandoned these and just stuck to the stock connectors with my Corsair PSU and they all fit together flawlessly... just proving these Antec cables I got were bad. One or two positives... they did come with combs and the wire itself and insulation seems of good quality. Put building into cables... pretty bad. ... show more

Really happy with these cable extensions. They’re a great value and very well built. I did notice one of my 24 pin cables was loose in the plug but I was able to push it back to it’s locked position. Do be warned however that, since these are 16 gauge and sleeved, the cables are fairly stiff and hard to train around bends. Plus, since all the individual cables in any of the extensions are the same length, the cables on the inside of the bend will be too long to keep the rest of the extension straight. You’ll need to find a way to take up the excess length. I did this on the back side of the motherboard tray by bowing the excess cables out of alignment. Note the distorted cables in the picture. The 24 pin is by far the hardest to train properly but take your time and use the extra combs to train the excess cables length to lay flat behind the motherboard. Also, since I built in a smallish case, there was a lot of extra cable length I needed to stash in the case basement. The final results looks great! ... show more

If you have a compact case, specifically an h500i, unless you remove the cages in the bottom it's going to be super hard to maneuver the wires so it fits without twisting. If you have enough room, these are probably great since they're so stiff, they hold form well, but if you don't have enough room, you'll need to twist then, and it won't make for a pretty sight, which imo defeats the purpose of buying sleeved extensions. When the rest of the parts get here, I'll add a picture of what I finally get it to look like. *Edit* Antec contacted me shortly after this review, and notified me that they were sending their paracord sleeved cables, since I felt these were too stiff(they are for my case, way too compact). The paracord cables are pretty good. The combs they come with are the same that come with these. However, you can forget actually using them as a comb, as sliding them across this paracord is a nightmare, it's quite hard. The combs for the PET cables are perfect though. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. If you have a compact case, I'd suggest getting the 500mm(especially if you have an h500i), otherwise get the paracord version. The difference is quite apparent, the width of the paracord is pretty small compared to the pet sleeved cables. *edit* I'm not sure if it's the motherboard or what, but getting the 24 pin in was a chore lol, but they do look very good in the system. ... show more

I recently purchased a Phanteks Pro M Tempered Glass case (Black/White model) for my MSI Gaming Plus X470 motherboard. I chose the white Antec cables and used four (4) of them to connect to my motherboard. Unfortunately, the 8-pin cable did not fit the 8-pin socket on my motherboard so I contacted Antec. They wrote back quickly and sent me a replacement (albeit 4+4 cable) that works perfectly! I would have liked to rate this product 4.5 stars for my inconvenience but since Antec was so gracious I decided to round up to 5 stars instead of rounding down to 4 stars! Very importantly I should add that the cables are very well made and they look fantastic! ... show more

Very happy I bought these. Extremely simple to use, plus the included cable combs made manipulating these pretty simple. A few things though. 1) people are not exaggerating that these are stiff and will require form patience to work with and 2) they add a bit of work in terms of cable management since they are EXTENSIONS. However, I was much happier with these than I was with the Cablemod full replacement set I bought for my PSU close to a year ago. These look much better (THICKER) and cleaner overall. Must-buy for a good looking custom PC in my opinion. ... show more
