Wow!! My house has been out of central air for 2 weeks now. In the middle of summer in Georgia. That is a death sentence. Lol yesterday it arrived. Around 4pm. Husband had it hooked up by 5:30pm. We left the house We got home around 9pm and walked in. Very pleased with the coolness of my home. The main house is nice. The bedrooms haven't been affected yet but I don't expect the cooler air to go around the corners yet. The house was very hot. So my review is....so far a great product. The one that I must have misread while purchasing is. Although portable. It's very heavy. Has rollers but can't be used without being run out of a window. I thought it didn't need a window. Which was a great sell but was wrong. So it's in a window and working great. I've had to turn it up to 65° when I got up this morning. By the way. The cool down didn't take 4 hours. I left something in the house 20 minutes after it began working and noticed a huge improvement. The area that is affected is 3 rooms of a semi open floor plan. One room 10 x 10. Another 25 x 20 and a bowling alley kitchen of approx. 15x30. So buy it. Noise level is white noise. Absolutely no drainage/condensation yet. ... show more

Quick set up, quick room cool down. Small and easy to move around. Problems are when on fan mode it shows the last temp. setting from ac, would be better if had a symbol that fan was active, can be confusing. The remote does not have a backlight so you need to turn on a light at night to change settings. I'm going to assume that the lower cost is why it doesn't have more features. ... show more
