  • Performed accurately, easy to use and a great value even though is had been used and resold as new
Style: 1/4-Inch Size: 20-240 in-lb / 2.3-27.1 Nm
I purchased this wrench for a project to replace a breaker panel. The 1/4 inch/lb. wrench came quickly and had nice a blow mold case to hold other bits and adapters (not included). Upon examining the "new" wrench, I found scratches on the head and shaft of the the wrench, some surface rust on the 1/4" square drive and steel metal flecks inside the case. This wrench had probably been purchased, used and returned by a previous buyer. I was concerned about how it was used/abused. I compared it with a recently calibrated Wheeler inch/pound wrench. I was happy to find that it accurately tracked each of the torque settings on the calibrated wrench. Aside from the superficial damage from the previous owner, I decided to keep it for my upcoming project. It is easy to read the settings, adjust and use, looks nice and is light weight. I didn't have a problem with hearing the click as others complained about because I don't work in high noise locations. I could easily feel the click on each of the tested settings. Time will tell how long it will last. It was a great price for what seems like a great tool. ... show more

  • Excellent for the money
Style: 1/4-Inch Size: 20-240 in-lb / 2.3-27.1 Nm
I've only had this for a few days, so I can't comment on durability. However, I have used it to torque ~100 screws / bolts so far and my initial impressions are excellent. I bought this for the couple times a year I need something smaller than a 3/8" torque wrench, but mostly to work on bicycles. A 1/4" torque wrench is not something I commonly use so I didn't want to drop a ton of money on the purchase. I have used 1/4" torque wrenches from harbor freight & foundation recently but I wanted something with a slimmer overall profile (especially for bikes) and took a chance on this. I had low expectations but have been extremely happy with pretty much everything about this wrench. PROS: - Ergonomics: IMO, overall size is perfect for the amount of torque the wrench can take (~9.5" long). The handle is a nice size and feels great in the hand. All adjustments work well and are very intuitive to use. - Torque adjustment: The collar adjustment for torque setting is one of my favorite things about the tool. I haven't seen this design often, but I wish all my torque wrenches had this. To adjust torque, pull down on the collar and twist the handle. Every 2 in lb, after releasing the collar, it will lock into place (spring-loaded to pop "up"). This is easier to use than the traditional tensioner at the end of the handle and, more importantly, once it is locked at the right setting, you don't have to keep rechecking the end of the handle to ensure the tensioner hasn't come loose. - Engagement: 72 tooth ratchet has a very smooth, positive feel. Switching the lever from tighten-loosen is easy and has a smooth action. Also, the button lock to hold sockets on is, surprisingly, one of the nicest I've ever used. - Accuracy: I have compared this against a 1/4" and a 3/8" torque wrench (which I know to be accurate) and it is spot on all the way from 20 - 240 in lb. - Case: Carry case is much nicer than expected. First of all, it looks cool. More importantly, it's much beefier than I was expecting and seems very sturdy. The case is ~2 inches longer than the torque wrench but this doesn't bother me. I can actually fit other, longer torque wrenches in it. - Warranty (?): Long-term durability is a big unknown. However, the manual states it has a 2 year warranty. I have no idea how the company would respond to a warranty claim but it gives me a little peace of mind. CONS: - The only thing I feel this is missing is a N m readout. The in lb reading is located in the correct orientation and is easy to see. However, I wish they had put a N m readout on the opposite side. Not a big deal, but I would have appreciated that. Overall, I'm extremely pleased. I will update this after I've had it for awhile or if anything changes. As of now, for <$25, I highly recommend considering this tool. ... show more

  • Very nice compact torque wrench.
Style: 3/8-Inch Size: 5-45 ft-lb / 6.8-61 Nm
My favorite smaller torque wrench. It works great. Very compact and such a nice quality. Feels solid in the hands and easy to use with clear numbers. Great for smaller bolts. Works great in torque spark plugs and oil change bolts.

  • Good value for the price
Style: 3/8-Inch Size: 5-45 ft-lb / 6.8-61 Nm
I use this with my carbon fiber bikes. It works well and and has a quality feel to it. It covers a range that overlaps with my 8nm max torque tool, and covers most torque ranges on the bike. Typical messy torque computations for the metric side, but digital torque wrenches cost way too much for my infrequent use. Would buy again. ... show more

  • Nice wrench fir reasonable price
Style: 3/8-Inch Size: 5-45 ft-lb / 6.8-61 Nm
Used it for the first time today and feels very sturdy. Easy to read numbers on black handle. My torque spec was 26 ft lbs so I started at 20 and got a click then went to 23 got more turn and a click then went to 26 and got more turn and a click. Seems to work well.

  • Simply a great value. Very accurate!
Style: 3/8-Inch Size: 5-45 ft-lb / 6.8-61 Nm
Very impressed with this inexpensive torque wrench. Very well made and very accurate (I checked it with my digital torque adapter) I have Snap-on and Matco torque wrenches but wanted this one for small size and quick adjustments. Affordable and accurate. Don't miss out on this tool. I hate to say this as I don't want prices to raise but now that I have this wrench I would pay twice as much to replace it if I lost it. Great value for a truly well engineered tool ... show more

The product is very easy to use and offers excellent quality at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend it. I also like the way it looks, lol. I used it to replace the Spark plugs on my SUV.
