Shrink wrapped and then jammed into a bulging box, it is a miracle this dog house arrived undamaged. There were no written instructions and I did not anticipate how difficult it would be zipping the roof onto the house sides with its flimsy undersized nylon zipper. Also, the bottom sleeping pad is less than adequate and I will have to replace it with an eggcrate (orthopedic) mattress. Still, the design is otherwise solid, allowing me to protect my sleeping dog under a high intensity air conditioning vent, which is the only place it can go in my bedroom. Could be a 5-star product if it came with a sturdy zipper, a much better sleeping surface, and written instructions (I still don't know how to put my pet's name on the slab to hang) sent in better packaging. ... show more

The house won't keep shape well, and it isn't very durable. The loop for the mini chalkboard was extremely small so I had a difficult time tying the chalkboard. The roof on the house attaches by a zipper, however installing it was difficult as it would not zip properly until the 5th time. The cushion zipper already broke as well. I would return it, however my dog ripped a part of the house. All the other issues were not caused by my dog. ... show more

My dog loves this BUT .... it flops down and it caves in on the sides really bad. I had to return it. I think they need something inside to keep its shape. But it was a floppy mess. But boy my dog did love it it's soft.
