This stand has seen a lot of various use for me. I've used it just as a phone stand by my bed so my phone was easier to see in the morning or randomly at night. Held my tablet when I used it as a kitchen aid. And also held my portable monitor when I used it as an extension to my home setup. It is sturdy and no devices were ever too heavy to cause any sagging or movement. I could have it where my monitor was pretty much covering my hands and keyboard underneath fine. This is my 2nd cell phone/iPad stand. The previous one was just for the phone and smaller. Then I needed one for my tablet so I purchased this one (KG310Pro). It is very well made seems to be thick aluminum or some alloy construction but very sturdy. Not too light, nor too heavy; just enough to support weight of the tablet without toppling over. The width is good to support the tablet either vertically or horizontally. For the phone, it may be bit wide when placed vertically (as it is primarily made for tablet) but that is actually better as I prefer wider support. There are two folding plates so I can use it at virtually any angle. It is completely foldable if desired so. The hinges are just perfect for adjustment – neither too tight nor too loose. So, far it is holding very well with daily use and I think it will provide me good service for long time. I would highly recommend this not only for tablets but also for smart phones. I bought silver color (my preference) but they may have other colors as well. If I need another one, I will certainly buy this one again. ... show more

I currently own three of these. I ordered one, was so impressed by the build quality and functionality that I quickly ordered two more, one for my wife and another for my office. Securely supports my 12.9" I-Pad pro but has also proved useful as a convenient holder for other desk objects, such as pens and notepads as well as a smaller I-Phone. The adjustable hinges allow this versatile tablet stand to be folded up for transport or storage yet seem robust and tight enough to withstand years of use without loosening up. Of course, only time will tell whether this assessment is accurate. In addition, these stands are 'handsome' enough to be considered an architectural mini work of art. SECOND PURCHASE - APRIL 2025: Everything I said about my first purchase (below) is true about this new one. But the new one is significantly smaller and so, it doesn't hold my iPad as comfortably as the one from my first purchase. I bought the second one because my husband loved my first one and borrowed it often. I decided I would get one for him as a gift. I couldn't give him the little one so I'm now balancing my iPad on the smaller one. I'm wondering if this is what it means when someone uses the word "shrinkflation" - it sure seems to fit the definition. I'm disappointed but it's still a good stand. Just for future purchasers, the new size is more appropriate for a phone than for a tablet in my opinion. I've attached a picture. FIRST PURCHASE - MARCH 2024: Everything about this stand is perfect. I applaud the engineer who designed it. The weight is perfect, the resistance of the hinges (is that the right word?) is perfect. It holds my phone or my iPad in any position with no fuss, just put it down and it stays where you put it. Perfect in every possible way.
