It’s not new but you could’ve fooled me. Other than the box not being sealed, it looks 100% new. No marks or signs it was used. Considering I got the white one, it’s hard to clean up and find previous used marks so I was surprised there wasn’t any signs of use. Only thing I found was that there was a small streak around the keyboards’ usbc port were someone plugged it in there and didn’t go straight in but other then that, nothing else. Looked all over including the felt material that the back of the iPad rest and it still looks perfect. Feels wonderful and great product. Considering how much this cost new and virtual no changes between keyboard generations, Idk why anyone would buy this new. Worth every penny for the refurbished one. Only grip is that it greatly increases the weight of the entire set up. The keyboard actually weighs more than then iPad Pro 12.9. It has to be or it will easily tip over due to the weight of the iPad. So it would be more then twice the weight although so keep that in mind when getting it. I have and use iPad Pro 12.9 fifth gen with M1 chip if anyone wanted to know. ... show more

I LOVE THIS MAGIC KEYBOARD! In contrast, I have owned 2 unsatisfactory Similar Products before i purchased this . They were extremely disappointing. For instance, they didn't have the “through charging feature.” And the more recently purchased keyboard didn't come with the charging cable. Though the seller promised to send it several times, they came up with a new excuse about why they hadn't sent it yet, every time i contacted them about this.. . I had repeatedly complained that The magnets were too weak to hold my iPad Pro 6th generation onto the back securely. another detail i disliked, which i didnt complain about was that the track pads were weird. The action was UNUSUALLY stiff. I only mention this now, because i want to comment that in comparison, the trackpad action on this Magic Keyboard is excellent. Having had the other folio keyboards, i can attest that they cannot compare to the Apple product. I contacted the manufacturer of the other folios REPEATEDLY, seeking support for the insecure magnetic placement and other issues . Although the service rep asked questions which seemed irrelevant, they never provided any advice and/ or any solution. Eventually, the folio broke when it released the ipad; which then hit the floor. It was the last straw My brand new iPad Air pro was nearly smashed , when it hit a hard floor because the inadequate magnet on that folio keyboard spontaneously released the iPad from the folio , which i had purchased to protect it.. the ipad smashed to the floor. When the magnet gave way, I let go of the folio in a failed attempt to catch the released device before it hit the floor. The folio dropped and broke. The ipad landed face down, and doesn't seem to have been damaged, though if i hadn't attempted to catch it, it would have landed on a corner, cracking the screen. The folio lost keys, which could not be reattached. I returned this disappointing item nd ordered a Magic Keyboard at the “Open Box“ price. This is an NEW item, not refurbished. Though I had expected to receive the Magic Keyboard for an iPad Pro 12.9” 6th generation. Instead, i received one for 5th gen. It works perfectly. It is new. But not specifically for gen 6. i also love the light weight, and the fact that this keyboard seems to hold my Apple Penci in place a bit better than the other folios i had previously. They didn't keep it in place at all. I highly recommend this Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad! . It is the best! It fits perfectly, everything works, the magnet, through charging feature and easy function make it convenient and comfortable to use, and no worries about the device falling off without warning. The one improvement I‘d wish for, is an attached sleeve to hold the pencil more securely for easy transport and access. ... show more

Recently my keyboard that I bought in 2021 from Best Buy has not been connecting at times and stop working in the middle of using it. It can be a shortage of battery, I don’t know since we can’t tell the battery life in the keyboards. I ordered a replacement for my keyboard from Amazon on 11/24/23. The keyboard was in great condition and appeared to be perfect. However, to notice 3 buttons was not working on the replacement keyboard, the (M) (,) and (.) keys were not working. I started a replacement of this item on 11/28/23 and was given an ETA for delivery for 12/1/23. Lucky me, I got a surprise notification saying my item will be arriving earlier than expected. I got my replacement of my Amazon order on 11/30/23. Let me say….. “Around of Applause” this merchant shipped the item fast and sent an item that is dang near brand new. The Apple box has slight dirty marks, not bothersome and I wiped it with a Clorox wipe for any germs. Then, upon opening the box, the product was wrapped in the frosted film like a new product would be. It included the apple literature, but without the Apple stickers..whomp whomp!!! Can’t have it all for a “Renewed” item. But hey….We are in the game. Per the pictures, the item is free of damages and stains and works like new. Strange moment, it even smells new. Hahahaha. I connected my iPad Pro with no issues and did a test type of all characters on the keyboard and they ALL work… I wiped down the exterior and keys with a bleach wipe and lightly mist the entire keyboard with Lysol spray, the Air version for protection from germs since I am not the original owner. Apple's Magic Keyboard and Case for the iPad Pro line-up are pretty amazing. And at $349 at retail they should be. Thanks to Amazon's refurbished program, you can snag one of these beauties for less than half the price! Our white keyboard came in its original box and honestly - looked brand new. Not a mark, smudge or blemish. As I nervously dropped our iPad Pro into the case, I was expecting a problem...surprise...it was flawless. Compared to our Apple Keyboard case, the Magic Keyboard and trackpad bring a whole new level of functionality. Can't believe I waited a year before doing this. One note: I am not going to argue with anyone about how the Magic Keyboard makes the iPad Pro a bit chunky and adds a ton of weight. In truth, it now weighs more than my 13.3 MacBook Air M1...barely. If you want the lightest Mac computer go find a 12" MacBook! I purchased this as a renewed product and it feels new. It does everything that is promised and works great making my iPad feel almost like a laptop. The real downside is the charging speed if you decide to plug your charger into the keyboard/case and try to charge your iPad that way(as opposed to plugging it directly into your iPad). I sometimes charge it through the keyboard because I like how the port is on the left side of the keyboard. One subjective downside could be the overall weight that it adds to the iPad, but I understand that this is a high quality product and the weight comes with that. I held out on buying the Apple Magic Keyboard as long as I could. I have other keyboard/track pad cases for my 12.9 iPad Pro and, as always, Apple just got it right. Pros: - Charges and connects seamlessly with iPad - Cantilever supports iPad without it being too top heavy - Zero lagging or slow moving mouse from the trackpad - Types just like I’m using my iMac Magic Keyboard - Fits my iPad perfectly Cons: - I wish it had a bit more range, can’t be turned inside out for use when not needing the keyboard - No camera, screen, or side of iPad protection. I use a more “rugged” case when I need more protection on the field for work. - A bit pricey, but don’t know how big of a con that is when it works so amazingly compared to a few other brands I’ve tried. ... show more
