Recently my keyboard that I bought in 2021 from Best Buy has not been connecting at times and stop working in the middle of using it. It can be a shortage of battery, I don’t know since we can’t tell the battery life in the keyboards. I ordered a replacement for my keyboard from Amazon on 11/24/23. The keyboard was in great condition and appeared to be perfect. However, to notice 3 buttons was not working on the replacement keyboard, the (M) (,) and (.) keys were not working. I started a replacement of this item on 11/28/23 and was given an ETA for delivery for 12/1/23. Lucky me, I got a surprise notification saying my item will be arriving earlier than expected. I got my replacement of my Amazon order on 11/30/23. Let me say….. “Around of Applause” this merchant shipped the item fast and sent an item that is dang near brand new. The Apple box has slight dirty marks, not bothersome and I wiped it with a Clorox wipe for any germs. Then, upon opening the box, the product was wrapped in the frosted film like a new product would be. It included the apple literature, but without the Apple stickers..whomp whomp!!! Can’t have it all for a “Renewed” item. But hey….We are in the game. Per the pictures, the item is free of damages and stains and works like new. Strange moment, it even smells new. Hahahaha. I connected my iPad Pro with no issues and did a test type of all characters on the keyboard and they ALL work… I wiped down the exterior and keys with a bleach wipe and lightly mist the entire keyboard with Lysol spray, the Air version for protection from germs since I am not the original owner. I don't ever write reviews but I feel like I should for this keyboard case. I never buy refurbished/renewed tech but I didn't feel like paying retail for a new Magic Keyboard for my iPad Pro. So I took a gamble on this. It came with the original box, packaging, and documents. The box was a bit damaged but nothing terrible. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the Magic Keyboard was and it definitely looked like new. As soon as I connected my iPad Pro to it, it started working without issues. A few months after using it, I still have no issues with any of the keys, trackpad, or connectivity. I highly recommend getting this renewed as it saves a lot of money compared to buying it new from Apple. ... show more

Was compatible with my brand new 12.9” M2 iPad Pro. -charger works -all keys work -touchpad and click works -backlight works -no structural deformation -opens and closes fine Was very pleased to finally try out Amazon’s renewed program and save massively on this item that’s otherwise unjustifiably expensive for me. And this did not disappoint. One thing I will say is that it definitely used. Apple’s silicone material on their cases, watch bands, etc, will end up forming these random “shine spots” after some time of use. These are present, and they’re not washable. But i would not consider them damage as there is no actual damage to the silicone at all. So it’s not a problem for me. When it comes to Magic Keyboard in general, some things i ran into that i wasnt expecting: -MKB + iPad is a surprisingly heavy unit. And feels fragile. So it’s more unwieldy than a MacBook Air or even one of the 13” MacBook Pros. -When you go to open it like a laptop, it’s just…difficult. Keep in mind, the screen portion is much heavier than the keyboard, where that would be the opposite case on a regular laptop. So you may have to somehow open the keyboard down, if that makes sense. If you do try to open the screen up though, like a laptop, you have to put your fingers on the screen a little bit, which is try to avoid as much as necessary. And overall the force required to open it is just…weird. It’s extremely rigid and feels like I’m going to break it if I keep opening it. Obviously not the case though, and I’m probably just used to the extremely smooth experience of opening a MacBook. These are not cons, but they will take some getting used to. Very pleased. Just like new. I have an original black Magic Keyboard and this renewed one operates and functions exactly like the original. Arrived in an unblemished Magic Keyboard Box. Bluetooth connected immediately as did an Apple Pencil. Trackpad works great. No marks, scuffs or discolorations. Fits perfectly with my iPad Pro 12.9” 5th generation. Very happy with my purchase. I previously owned the Apple Magic Keyboard but sold it because of my new laptop. I decided to buy it again because I missed the ease of travel with the iPad versus the laptop. I am shocked at how "New" this incredibly low-priced Apple keyboard is here on Amazon. it's authentic, clean, in excellent condition, and a host of other things as if I bought it directly from Apple. Paying just a third of the original cost is awesome and I'm glad that I didn't jump to Apple first because this seller has earned my trust and will definitely use them again.
