I really like this light. Just as easy to install as any light. It has a lot of different colors, regular and daylight options, and a dimmer for the white lights. The remote control is a nice feature. The only issue I would take with it is if you lose the remote or you lose it or break it the light will be stuck on whatever type you chose last and there is no way to manually change it. I guess you can buy a replacement remote for it but you should be able to manually change it. Other than that it works great. ... show more

Super easy to install, I like all the colors and brightness options, remotes make it easy. They are good lights for a fair price. I've bought 2 of them. Be careful if you do the same as the remotes will control both, which makes sense but can be a pain.

Purchased these for about a quarter of the cost at big box stores. Hookup was easy and took about 10 minutes to install. I like the light; it has different brightness modes and colors easily changed with the remote. I purchased two more for other rooms.

So before anything, make sure your remote is in the box. someone set mine up and didn’t realize there wasn’t a remote. Tried to contact them about it. Not sure what’s going on with that. I got this to replace the horrible old fluorescent light fixture in the ceiling of the room we've converted to a home theater. I love that you can shut off the big, main light in the middle and just leave one of the colors around the edge (or a rotation of colors) kind of like a night-light people don't trip when they have to get up in the middle of the movie. We prefer to just pick one color - the color-changing mode is kind of distracting when the movies are actually playing. Blue and purple are very atmospheric!
