I had originally ordered this as an extension for my craft/work room - some of the small USB devices I use have rather short cords, and I figured this extension would be useful to just plug in and place on the tabletop to plug into. It works great, and I ordered a second one to run to my nightstand - I do not have a plug near my side of the bed, and realized that this extension cord was long enough to run from the plug to my nightstand and keep the lamp and phone charger cords off the floor when everything is tied up behind the stand. It does have a bright light, but that is not a problem if the charging end is actually hidden from view like mine is.

Bought these ahead of time to complement the new reclining couch and loveseat. The cord could have been a little longer but it functions well enough as is. The added convenience provided by having the tablet and cell phone chargers handy is a welcome luxury. Use caution and heed included warnings when using products with higher wattages.

Love Anker's design. How often do you try to grasp the power cord and your hand slips off? Anker's taken care of that. How often do you try to plug something into a new product and it is sized too small or too tight? This cord has neither of these flaws.
