Nice little bluetooth speaker. Syncs up quickly with any bluetooth device, has good sound quality. Buttons a little hard to press, but this is a bathroom-capable speaker, where the buttons are encased in rubber and entirely protected from water. Would work by the swimming pool or boat dock, but you'd want a bigger speaker for the boat dock. Recharges quickly, easy to run.

I'm a happy camper. For a BT speaker it is impressive. For a portable battery operated speaker it is heavy. Portable but not lightweight :-) Not sure if it is just ballast filled (some BT speakers are weighted to make owners think it's big bass speakers) It DOES have excellent bass response and I may not have even turned it up all the way. I have a working Soundcore mini that I enjoy for it's uSD card and FM radio. This is what I use when I want a thumper. I have a nice QSC 850 (200 watt per @8 Ohm) amp and wired nad rattlers and this is in the range for most of my foot thumpin listening. Not yet max range tested but it does what I got it for. I'll edit if it is an issue else HAPPY CAMPER good to go! It's NOT 12" wooofers but it is impressive for it's size. :-) It is a shame there is a delay for wired input because it would be a cool portable guitar amp. I have no interest in investing in a BT xmitter so, oh well, still definitely worth the price of admission.

I recently replaced my old Doni Bluetooth speaker with the Anker Soundcore 2, and while it's not a huge leap forward, it's a solid upgrade for the price. This speaker is a good example of "you get what you pay for." It's a no-frills device that does its job without any major surprises. The sound quality is okay. It's an improvement over the budget speaker I had before, but it's not going to blow anyone away. The bass is present but not particularly deep, and the overall sound can get a bit tinny at higher volumes. It's perfectly fine for background music, podcasts, or a casual get-together, but it lacks the richness and clarity of more expensive models. Where the Anker Soundcore 2 really shines is its value. For what it costs, it provides a reliable and portable listening experience. The battery life is impressive, and the speaker feels durable with its rubberized finish. It's a practical choice for someone who needs a functional Bluetooth speaker and isn't overly concerned with audiophile-level sound. TL/DR: over 100 foot Bluetooth connectivity range, 24+ hour battery life, loud speakers with excellent bass. Best portable speaker you could find for quality and price. This speaker is awesome! First thing, Bluetooth connectivity range is insane compared to other Bluetooth speakers and headphones I’ve used. Line of sight is important and can stay connected over 100 feet away from the speaker, metal and concrete objects will interfere with that distance but I can regularly walk 50+ feet away and stay connected. Secondly, very easy to use and connect to. Battery life is excellent and exceeded my expectations, I would estimate being able to use it for about 24 hours before having to charge it, although you may get several more hours beyond that. You can charge it while using it as well. For its size I was pleasantly surprised at how loud the speaker can get and has good bass to it as well. This is the portable speaker to have because it works so well and has top of the line power in both battery life and sound level.

So I recently got a gaming monitor which doesn’t have speakers. I almost bought gaming speakers with RGB and such but I just wanted something that I could use on multiple devices. Not only this could be connected via Bluetooth, the main selling point for me is I could attach this to my monitor via audio cable, which is perfect when my Series X is attached to the monitor. I wish the audio cable came along with it though but I bought that separately. Also, I wish using just a USBC cable could power this on and also output sound. Maybe that’s possible but not sure. Anyway, I’m happy with the sound, it is loud enough, maybe need more bass but it sounds better than my laptop speakers and even TV speakers. And I’m glad I got this older model and not the new one because of the available audio port. Happy with my purchase. Thanks.
