Plastic floats were subpar. 1st one cracked between the stem in threads and body of the float within the first month and took in water. Causing the float to stay submerged thereby leaving the valve open and flooding the backyard. The 2nd float broke at the junction of the stem threads and body of the float before it could be installed. Of course this all occurred after the 30 day return period. So now I am stuck trying to find replacement floats for it. ... show more
