Features

  • [Clean Sound Quality] Featured with durability and adaptability, the metal-build podcast microphone, with SPL of 130dB, will not distort the audio from vocal, video or music recording to keep its originality. Quite directional cardioid pattern deals with background noise, like hard drives or computer fans. The microphone for PC delivers detail voice without much additional noise processing. (Arm stand, mic stand and XLR cable are NOT included.)
  • [Upgrade XLR Output] XLR microphone reduces circuit noise interference and enhances the sense of audio space. Worked with S/N Ratio higher than 80dB, the dynamic microphone upgrades dynamics and details to makes your vocal easier to resonate. Use the streaming mic with sound card or mixer equipment accessories in your studio to present more natural and high-end audio in recording, vocals.
  • [Convenient USB Output] Provided with both XLR to USB connections, the dynamic USB microphone is a significant benefit for you to record in various ways working with Windows or Mac OS. You can save time to finish your work quickly on desktop or laptop by plugging the 8.2ft USB cable directly without any further software or settings. The gaming microphone readily satisfies your daily work in studio, and also portable when out for work.
  • [Mute and Gain Control] Tap-to-mute on the front panel is handy to control instead of pushing a button, which is quiet to avoid unnecessary noise into your vocal or singing. No need to fiddle with software settings on your Macbook, you can adjust the input volume level by gain knob on the recording mic for podcast, to output more vivid broadcast audio. (Only available for USB connection)
  • [Monitoring and Volume Adjustment] The studio microphone ability to 3.5mm jack real-time monitoring along with headphone volume control is more accessible for voice-over work. You can monitor to judge if your output volume as intended or noise reduction effect, and directly set the monitoring volume on the vocal microphone to listen to each frequency audio. (Only available for USB connection)
  • [Further Noise Reduction] The PC mic requires to keep a close distance to record. Thus, the included windscreen can dampen the impact of plosives to reduce the harshness in vocals. When you record bass audio, the external shock mount eases unwanted low frequency vibration from desk and mechanical noise, further keeping your Youtube, broadcast clean, nature and powerful.
  • Warm Tips: 1. The fifine microphone K688 (XLR cable, boom arm, mic stand not included) comes with a mic with shock mount, an 8.2ft (2.5m) USB-C to USB-A cable, a 5/8'' to 3/8'' adapter, a user's Manual. 2. When using XLR connection, it is suggested to use XLR to XLR cable for more stable audio. 3. All function keys are only available for USB connection.

  • Good quality, Great customer service
Color: Black (No Boom Arm Included)
I’ve been using this brand of microphones and audio equipment for many years. I’ve had this microphone for almost 2 years now, it still works perfectly fine. This is by far the best budget microphone for the price. It comes with a usb-c cord with a usb-a adapter for your pc. It also has a usb-c port, and an xlr port. It was super easy to plug and play, with no additional installations like drivers or anything. It sounds clear and works great. It has a little mini tripod, but if you have a boom arm, it’s easily adjustable to the direction you want it to be. It has volume sliders in the back for gain levels. The only issue I’ve ever had was the mute button, it came off of the spring. I emailed FIFINE within 1 year of purchasing this specific microphone for that issue. The spring still muted and unmuted the microphone, so it was a small issue, but it was definitely an inconvenience. I use a mixer that I bought from them, so I don’t have to mess with the mute button spring anyway. Instead of them just sending me the 3d printed piece that probably would have cost them $0.10, they sent me a whole new microphone for FREE. I didn’t even have to send back this one to the company. Their customer service was great! I got an email response within a WHOPPING 30 minutes. That’s the fastest customer service I’ve ever seen. They sent the replacement mic within a few days, and I received it within 7 days of the first email that I sent. Sound quality: 8/10 Accessories: 8/10 (could include an xlr cable) Ease of use: 10/10 Build quality: 9/10 Customer service: 10/10 Overall rating: 9/10 ... show more

  • An Awesome USB/XLR Microphone! Great for the Price and Super Easy To Use.
Color: Black (No Boom Arm Included)
I’ve primarily used only Fifine Mic’s since I started content creation, I’ve had the K669B, and AM8 which has been my main microphone for the past year. The K688 is an excellent upgrade! The build quality is better, and the built in shock mount and better background noise reduction compared to the AM8 makes it worth it. The Metal build is super nice. I love the smaller design profile when compared to the AM8, and though not needed, the ditching of the RGB lights is something I do miss. I also love that it includes a USB A to C that can easily become USB C to C. The cable itself is pretty long, similar to the AM8, it makes it super easy to adjust it. Similar to the other Fifine mic’s I’ve had, this one works out of the box with no issues. The XLR compatibility is also super neat. I primarily just use the USB C cable, it makes it super easy to plug in and use. I highly recommend pairing the mic with a boom arm (Fifine’s BM63 is my personal recommendation), I hadn’t realized till now how much of a difference it makes and how much easier it is to stay close to the mic and maintain consistent volume and quality. On the audio quality, I have a pretty deep and monotone voice. I try to keep the mic as close as possible and project my voice to make it sound as clear and crisp as possible. I am still very impressed by the audio quality for this price, and I have no real complaints. I’ve had it for over 2 weeks as of this review, I would recommend it! ... show more

  • High Quality Microphone for a Small Price. Great for Content Creators. High Quality Microphone for a Small Price. Great for Content Creators.
Color: White (No Boom Arm Included)
As a YouTube Content Creator, I was looking for the highest Quality Microphone I could get for a low price. There are some brands out there other YouTubers use that can cost a couple hundred dollars or more. Most of us who just start out on YouTube do not have that kind of money to spend. FiFine offers products to us at such an accessible price, it's hard not to take a look! The K688 is a Microphone that fits all my needs. I have used this Microphone in the USB configuration for several months and had absolutely no issues with it. The sound has been high quality giving me that studio sound that you would get from the higher price microphones. Recently, I added an audio mixer into my setup, the FiFine SC3 so that I can connect to XLR and use that quality. This microphone sounds great in XLR! But, it sounded great in USB mode too. I feel like regardless of how you wish to use this microphone, it will do an amazing job. When I first received the K688 it was extremely easy to use. You simply plug in the USB/XLR and plug it into your device you are connecting to. I purchased this microphone in the Color white to fit my setup. While in USB configuration you can adjust the microphone gain and the headphone volume with the Microphones knobs. You can also mute/unmute the microphone by simply pressing the touchscreen style mute button on the microphone. These features are not accessible in XLR mode because the Audio Mixer (In my case FiFine SC3) would take over those functions. I would definitely recommend this Microphone to content creators who want to sound amazing without spending a ton of money. ... show more

  • Best Budget Friendly Mic! Shure who?!?! Best Budget Friendly Mic! Shure who?!?!
Color: Black (No Boom Arm Included)
This comes with everything you need! It’s the perfect size! Great weight but not too heavy and not too light to feel cheap! It comes with a grey pop filter which works amazing for plosives but I wanted a black one for a cohesive color! The recording quality out of the box on my MaonoCaster E2 Gen2 is so good you would think it’s a Shure mic! When I used it with my Tonor Audio Interface and ran it in OBS I put different filters on it and it was so velvety and perfect for podcasting! I bought a Maono mic to see which is better but it hasn’t arrived yet! But this just sounds so amazing! And I need three more to finish my podcast setup so if it beats out the Maono I’ll definitely have to think about going with the FiFine! Because it has treated me so well! You would think the sound would make it cost hundreds but it’s a budget friendly mic! I’m honestly surprised by the quality. I didn’t care about the build as much I wanted it to sound amazing! It’s a 10/10 for me! ... show more

  • Great entry level static microphone Great entry level static microphone
Color: Black (No Boom Arm Included)
Great microphone for the price, especially if you're not sure YT or Podcasts are not your long term goal. If you're beginning then start with this microphone... Pros: works great with a stand or static mount, sounds great on your recordings. Versatile connection capabilities Cons: sound quality won't be as good as Rode or other high end microphones. Would definitely get for a home Podcast or YT channel start up. ... show more

  • easy to plug and use sounds good
Color: Black (No Boom Arm Included)
1. Dual connectivity makes it easy to use on a computer or with pro gear – plug into USB-C for instant setup or use the XLR jack with a mixer or interface. 2. Sturdy metal body and built‑in shock mount feel solid and cut down on clicks or bumps being picked up. 3. Cardioid pick‑up keeps your voice front and center while blocking out most background noise. 4. Wide dynamic range handles loud speech up to 130 dB without sounding harsh or distorted. 5. Simple gain knob on the mic lets you boost your voice level instantly, though even at full gain you may need a software boost if you speak very quietly. 6. Headphone output and volume control offer real‑time listening with zero delay so you can hear exactly what’s being recorded. 7. Touch mute button on top is a handy way to cut sound fast, although it can feel a bit “soft” under your finger. 8. Frequency range focuses on clear vocal tones – you’ll get crisp mids and highs, but very low bass won’t come through strongly. 9. No phantom power needed for XLR mode – just plug and play whether you’re at home or in a studio. 10. Good value for podcasters, streamers, vloggers and anyone wanting a reliable mic on a budget, though its weight means you’ll want a solid stand or boom arm. ... show more

  • Podcast Sound on a Budget!!
Color: Black (No Boom Arm Included)
The Fifine K688 is a nice follow up to the K658. They added the ability to go XLR as well as USB with this one. There are differences between the two beyond that however. Build: The build is solid of the K688. All heavy materials give it a decent heft and feel. It does come pre-mounted on the included shock mount. The shock mount works very well and is also build well. The pop filter is grey this time around and is a really soft material. It is not like other pop filter materials you may be used to. It's luxurious to touch even. Plug and Play: YES! You can use the provided 8.2ft usb-c cable and plug it right into your PC or console and be ready to go. There is no software required. If going XLR, you will need a mixer/interface to get this going. You will use the power from the mixer/interface and will not need the USB. However, if you want the functions on the Mic still, you will need to plug in the USB separately to a PC as well as the interface if you want to. Sound: I found the sound of this mic to be very good for the price! I say for the price because you will have P's and S's be a bit sharp at times. Plosives to pop through with the included pop filter if you aren't careful and the S sounds can sizzle a bit at times. You do need to speak closely to this mic to get the right volume but I did find adjusting the angle a bit to how it is pointed at your mouth can help to reduce those plosive/hiss sounds. My only downside is I wish the shock mount did not come preinstalled. With different types of mic boom arms out there, it would be nice to choose the way you install on the shock depending on how you want the logo to face. It's an easy enough work-around and not enough to take a star off of the review. Over all I think this is an excellent budget option Mic! Compared to the K658, I would say the 658 gives you the added RGB and a slightly different sound. The sound on the 658 can be a bit more harsh if you don't have the gain set right and I found the XLR option on the 688 to be my favorite. ... show more

Color: Black (No Boom Arm Included)
The FIFINE K688 is an amazing budget microphone that sounds way more expensive than it is. Clear, warm audio with great background noise rejection makes it perfect for streaming, Discord, or YouTube. The build quality feels solid, and having both USB and XLR means it can grow with your setup. Easy to use, great sound, and unbeatable for the price. I am a streamer and I use this microphone for all of my projects! I would 10/10 recommend!! ... show more
