What attracted me to this charger hiding place is that it's not likely to be thrown away like the various fake shaving cream cans, peanut butter jars, etc. Throw it in a junk drawer with your other chargers and nobody will be the wiser. Almost. This looks like your standard 5v, 9v, or 12v DC charger. The prongs used are real, and the wire is genuine 24 AWG copper wire. It is good quality. The only part of this that is not realistic is that it doesn't have the engravings on the shell that you would see on a real power cable; the engravings that would state the voltage rating and whatnot. This is the only tell and would only be noticed under close scrutiny. The plastic housing is light, as you'd expect of a hollow plastic shell. The back of the housing just pulls right off with little to no resistance. I suspect that it would pop right off if you dropped it, so be mindful of that. I put a cheap lighter in the housing for size reference it's large enough to store some folded up bills or a fair amount of pills. Overall this is a great diversion item if you want to hide some things in plain sight. The price is fair for what you're getting. ... show more

    • Better with modifications
Looks real, however modifications need to be done because if someone lifts it up they will know. All you need to do is glue the wire down so it does not rattle, glue a weight inside and stuff tissue around what you are stashing so the cops.. I mean burglars dont go to move it and realize whats up.
