The paddle is light and has a decent feel. However, there is some slip in the joint where the two pieces come together that is a bit unsettling as I consider taking this paddle on a back country kayak trip. Also, the cutouts are weed attractors and are probably more often annoying than helpful if there are any weeds where you kayak/fish. Overall decent value for the money. I would purchase again, but would prefer no cutout and a tighter union between the paddle pieces. Also, the drip guards are loose and slide all over…more slop. It is a decent paddle, just be aware of the areas of loose fit in case that will bother you. I can feel the two pieces shift in my hands when I am paddling with a bit of a dig.

Light weight, real carbon. Right length and works good in open water in marah flip paddle over or it does get caught. Freed a lure for me and I made it in a 13 ft canoe in 14mph winds just fine

I paddle a 36” wide fishing kayak, I’ve been using a 230cm paddle and have been thinking maybe I made a mistake buying this kayak as it paddled like a tank. I’d have never in a million years thought that a 4” longer paddle would make much of a difference but man this paddle ROCKS! It’s half the weight and I was able to average 2.5mph with a 19mph headwind using half the effort! Best purchase yet! Shipping was slow but worth the wait!

Great casual paddle for the money, very light and easy to use, and the length is welcome when solo paddling my 16' canoe. I wish the shaft was both a little larger in diameter and had some form of grip indexing. I'd gladly have paid more for that feature, so will probably end up wrapping a small bulge in the handle to better serve my needs.

This is a great paddle for the money. Super light compared to my old Wave paddle and the fiberglass enforced feathers give a lot of rigidity for efficient paddling. The only thing that would make it better is if the feathers were more buoyant, but at this price point, these are perfect. I love the cut outs. They are great for grabbing Docks, branches, and mangroves.

The Kerco paddle worked well initially. Fairly light and stiffed for a bargain price. On like my 6th or 7th trip, I noticed water being trapped inside the water handle. Looked down the paddle and noticed my left paddle was starting to rotate relative to the shaft and was starting to come loose. Pretty much, I will be looking elsewhere for a new paddle as I don't trust the Kerco paddle any longer to get me back to shore.
