I could do my whole head in less than 15 minutes and it would hold until I showered. Only a few touch ups hear and there. Unfortunately this one takes a minimum of 40 minutes to do my whole head and the ends and wispys will curl back up after a few hours. I have tried multiple heat settings with no change. Unfortunately I had high expectations for this hair straightener however the material used on this seems to be of cheap plastic. One that you would find at dollar tree. One that would definitely break if you accidentally drop it or left it out. Even if it was only one time. I do not want to take my chances and I can already tell this will not last even half a year.
