This is a very nice turntable when all is set up correctly. It has great sound quality, it has a very high-quality aluminum platter, it’s very easy to operate and hook up to external speakers, and I love the fact that it’s got a dust cover that I can use while operating the machine. I also like the felt mat that goes over the platter, and I especially like the fact that the platter doesn’t wobble. I even like the aluminum tonearm that was supplied with it. But I have a few small qualms about it. First of all, this turntable is not for the novice user. And if you’re blind like me, it would’ve been nice to have been warned that the turntable platter and drive belt were packaged separately. Or better yet, was it really too much to install that at the factory? I also wish that the anti-skate mechanism and counterweight mechanisms were designed differently. It would’ve been nice if the anti-scape mechanism use another rotating dial just like the counter weight as opposed to the fishing line and sinker design. my sighted friend couldn’t see the numbers on the weight when he was helping me to set that up, and the instructions were confusing to him. He also didn’t have a clue as to how to adjust the counterweight properly, so I had to do a lot of experimenting with that one, which could’ve easily resulted in my records being damaged. it could’ve come with a better 45 RPM adapter, more specifically, one of those quarter pound aluminum ones, because after all, if you’re touting this is a high-quality turntable, then why not supply a higher quality adapter for 45 RPM records? lastly, going back to the counterweight, it would be nice if that had a push button on the end of it to lock it in place, because I’m told that once it’s adjusted properly, it really should be left alone. Other than those issues, I like this turntable in general once all is said and done. I just wish that there was a fully automatic version. ... show more

I've not played a vinyl record in decades. I certainly don't know how to set up a record player. I found the instructions hard to follow and the issue of weighting the needle impossible for a beginner like me to know if I was doing it right. I had to go to youtube and amazon for reviews to understand why the turntable would stop mid-song. (Answer...the needle was not seated fully). I'm also used to the sound of streaming and I notice that there are times on vinyl when the speed seems inconsistent. All that being said, I'm really excited to try this "new" way of listening to music and the turntable, once set up is beautiful. I love the Bluetooth ability, it connects to the nearest Bluetooth device on its own quickly and stays paired. Very nice. I feel like this was a good purchase. ... show more

This turntable has a great sound for the price. Unboxing and set up were easy, my only concern was the the directions were somewhat ambiguous. I found a youtube video which was much more clear than what came with package. Currently I am running the unit as a stand alone, with powered speakers. I will be running it through an amplifier soon and will update this review accordingly. Addendum 1/9/23: I have still not ran this through the amp however, the white speaker port has stopped working. I replaced the RCA cables and this did not fix the issue. I plugged the speakers into my computer and they both work fine so, it can only be one thing. Lets see how the replacement goes. Update 1/26/23: Replacement has arrived, still waiting on my speakers to be able to run this through the amp. The exchange went flawlessly. On a side note, I did connect this to my JBL speaker via bluetooth and it sounded great!! Final update: I am running this turntable through a Sony STRDH190 which has specific inputs for a phonograph and is putting out 100 watts on two channels, Speakers are Klipsch R-51M on stands. Let me tell you, this set up is perfect. Great sound across the board and no problems with the replacement turntable. ... show more

Looked at the video as I was opening the box. Video was great and self-explanatory, however the cartridge for the needle needed to be secured. Did all that and it didn't play any sound. Played with the stylist and cartridge and it then stopped in the middle of a song. Took me a number of tries to get the cartridge right and to our joy, 8 albums, both sides played in a row. Sound is strong, bass is solid and albums sound terrific. I would like to say how they used to sound, but it has been about 20 years since I played them. Buy it, you'll like it ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a great vinyl record player. I bought this as a gift for a friend who we are celebrating and this player is going to be her expected gift because she is going to be using it for music at the celebration! The quality is fabulous. Setup is pretty quick. I used the combination of both manuals that have pictures as well as explanations. I’m sure when I get there with the player, we will have to mess with the weight a little bit and reset the weighted arm to work properly but it is easy once you understand how it works. This is very affordable and updated as it has Bluetooth capabilities! I’m confident it will be great! Will update with any other pros or cons after our celebration! ... show more
