Got my new Anecdote 2025–2026 planner and honestly? It is tempting me to betray my phone. I’m usually that organized person who keeps everything digital, but this planner is so cute and well-laid out that I’m actually excited to write things down: daily life, random wins, and of course my reading progress (because priorities). The layout is super intuitive, I'm liking the aestethic, and the vibe is exactly the kind of organized-but-still-fun energy I need going into 2026. I haven’t fully put it to work yet, but it already feels like the perfect mix of practical and fun. If any planner can convince me to go analog, it’s this one. I'm confident this is going to work amazingly, I'm loving the size of it too, not too bulky, but perfect to fit in your purse when you're on the go. I like the organization on each page, to keep things simple and clean, and love that it is 2025-2026. Beautiful planner with plenty of space! I love the color of the cover and I love the minimalist design - it helps me focus on content and details! The way this planner is organized is extremely helpful - you’ve got the months in the front and then daily pages after that with two sturdy plastic tabs to turn to your current spot. I love the timeline for each day and the to-do list and priorities. It helps me make sure I’m on task for the day and I love the satisfaction of checking things off! This planner is amazing! From the gorgeous cover color to the monthly/daily page layouts, the ribbons and the back pocket, this lovely planner really is top notch. The pages are thick and smooth and a really nice cream color. It’s a perfect size. At the end of each week, there’s a lined page for notes. I love that it’s undated so you can pick up anywhere in case you miss a week or two without wasting a bunch of pages. You can really tell a lot of thought went into the design of this planner. I’m a picky planner/journal person - normally I prefer spiral bound, but I think this planner has converted me! Love love love. 5 stars! ... show more

Great size, high quality. I like that it is undated and that it is a weekly view followed by daily pages. It is a Mon start with Sat and Sun combined page. I don't love that because I need the planning space. There is a back pocket and extra pages at the end. The pocket is durable enough that you could add more pages by sliding the cover of an insert in the pocket. Sharpies, highlighters, and all types of pens are fine and will not bleed through when used. Even Posca did not bleed through. The spine broke towards the end after a few months of use, but that doesn't bother me. I put stickers and post its on the pages and am not particularly careful with it. It is very durable. The price is a little high when you consider that it is a 6 month planner and not a full year, but it meets all of my needs at the moment. I wish it had a free page between the weekly review and Mon for some extra thoughts or to do lists, but I just add a large sticky note and that is fine. I plan to buy another to complete the year. I also have a journal by Anecdote and enjoy it alot. ... show more

The cover color options and material are beautiful and nice quality. I chose the olive green option. The first thing I did was a pen test in the back with my go to pens. I was happy with how well they all worked. No bleeding or ghosting. I even tried my Midori stamp that is oil based ink and it didn't ghost or bleed through either. This was a pleasant surprise because who wants ghosting on the next day? 🩷 The Daily Planner comes with a two year calendar in the front then 12 month undated calendar pages (January through December). This is a 6 month/ 26 week Daily planner (not a year). This was my only con because I like year planners but I also change up my planner about 6 months in at times so it's not a deal breaker for me. You do get a handful of lined pages in the back and all pages are a cream color. Check out my pictures of the daily pages to see how Monday through Sunday look each week. Overall the Ancedot. Daily Planner is really nice quality. I like the daily set up and how the weekend shared page has a lined page to the right for lists, notes, etc for the weekend or end of the week wrap up. I also like how the elastic closure and ribbons made the cover color spot on and blend in. ... show more

    • Quality Decline in an Otherwise Excellent Planner

This is the third anecdote planner undated daily planner I've used, and I'm a bit disappointed as there seems to be a major decrease in quality from my first two planners to this one. While I've always wished there were a few more color options, I love this planner. I hope that in the future, the company brings back the thick, high quality pages I've come to expect. If I could, I'd order a 2023-24 planner just so I could return to the quality I'm accustomed to. Pros: I absolutely LOVE the setup of this planner. I've never been able to find another planner that is hardbound, compact, undated, and has daily, weekly, and monthly planner pages. I find the "priorities" section on the daily pages extremely helpful, and as a student, love having the daily timetable to write out the times of my classes, extracurricular meetings, study periods, work times, etc. as my schedule often changes by the day. As it's undated, it's easy to customize to fit my scheduling needs. Plain, lined pages for notes at the end of each week and at the back of the planner means that I can travel to meetings with this planner alone and have room for notes. Plus, the pocket on the inside of the back cover is a great place to stash notes jotted down on looseleaf paper. Cons: The paper quality has changed immensely. In the past, the pages have always been smooth, but used to be thick and have a fine grain. Ink and pencil alike laid down well on the pages. Now, the pages are much thinner, which means printing from previous pages is more visible through the pages, and the paper has no grain. It's almost slick, which means ink doesn't dry as well and pencil smudges easily on the pages. There also used to be a blank page before the start of the calendar section that divided the calendar pages from the preceding "goals" pages, and prevented you from being able to see the lines of the previous page through the first calendar page. Additionally, the monthly calendar boxes are now smaller, with a margin between the pages, whereas before the calendar was a continuous spread that ran from page to page with no margin. Anecdote, please bring back the nice, high quality pages your customers have come to expect! But also, thank you for producing planners that are so beautifully designed. ... show more

I’ve really been enjoying the Anecdote Daily Workflow Planner. It’s a straightforward, no-frills planner that focuses on what matters most—keeping you organized and on track. The undated 12-month calendar gives you flexibility to start whenever you want, and the daily pages are laid out perfectly to manage schedules, tasks, and priorities without feeling cluttered. The paper quality is excellent. It’s a thick 100gsm cream paper—more of an off-white, which is easy on the eyes. It handles fountain pens surprisingly well. Ink dries quickly with no feathering or bleeding, which is a big plus. That said, because the paper isn’t coated, you won’t see much shimmer or sheen from specialty inks. For everyday writing and standard inks, it’s perfect. There is some mild show-through on the back of the page, especially if you’re heavy-handed with alcohol-based markers or highlighters, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, this is a great planner for anyone who wants a simple, reliable system with both monthly and daily pages. If you value functionality and quality paper over fancy extras, this planner is a fantastic choice. ... show more
