This head unit is a good value if you are willing to accept the limitations and quirks. With only 1 gig of working memory and an older generation processor it is limited to how much it can do. If you don't expect a lot you may actually like it. I installed it in my motorhome so I can have a big screen GPS, phone connection via Bluetooth and some music. It is doing these few things fine but it is unable to run an RV app I was hoping to use. The app, RV Life GPS and Trip Planning is simply too big and demanding for the unit to handle. Luckily, Google Maps runs just fine. Uninstall any apps you don't plan to use and always close any apps you are not currently using to free up memory. Tap the double rectangle on the top bar and swipe away any unused apps or tap Close All. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work well but ONLY if you insert the backup camera plug. I'm not using the backup cam so I didn't plug it in. That plug has 2 small wires hanging out of it which don't connect to anything and apparently they are the wi-fi and bluetooth antennas. Who knew?!? I was ready to sent the whole unit back because I thought that wi-fi was broken but the vendor told me to insert the backup cam connector. Bingo, instant great signal. Hopefully they update their info instructions to avoid further customer headaches. Also, for those of us in the USA, the speed indicator on the Home screen can be switched from KPH to MPH by briefly touching and holding KPH and it will change to MPH. ... show more

For the price it’s an nice radio , it’s loud without an amplifier, it has video inputs and video output , audio in and audio out , the apple carplay works great and fast, I can’t switch my boot logo because I guess the radio I was sent don’t have any installed, I didn’t use the back up camera because the lights wouldn’t turn off but to me the pros out weigh the cons great for it’s price lol it’s far from top of the line soft wear the finish looks great and top of the line , I also hooked up and hdmi port so I can have Amazon fire stick in the truck ... show more

Had some problems with the first head unit which was immediately replaced no questions asked by the seller, Hodozzy. Can't thank them enough for trying everything to help. Bottom line is that this unit is a bit problematical with regard to set up, but I haven't given up and will try to work out all the kinks I've run into, primarily with the Blue Tooth and the Wi Fi. At the moment it seems that the range of the Wi Fi is severely limited. I solved that one by pulling the head unit out of the vehicle and placing it on my work bench about two feet from the router. No problems with downloading maps then! Blue Tooth and I are still working out our differences but I may have that solved with a bit more experimentation. Bottom line is that this head unit is a good value for a hundred smackers but be prepared to work with it a bit to get it going. This is a very budget radio with a budget price. You get what you pay for. It does what it needs to, hooks up to my iPhone and does the CarPlay ok, glitches randomly but doesn’t loose connection. The power output for the speakers is extremely week. Full volume is barely loud enough for driving down the high with the windows up, don’t try to cruise around with the windows down going over 50mph. If I had to do it again, I would go with a little more expensive one to get a little better quality. The positives ar:, it connects to my phone almost every time, the screen is big. The negatives are: it is a PIA to mount, doesn’t mount like a normal stereo and you ah e to get very creative to get it to mount up, there is not enough power output for being a car stereo, it is a very glitchy program running the stereo. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Nice set up! Good screen and graphics. However takes forever ever to do anything function wise because it's so slow it can process 1 app without glitching. If your looking to run multiple apps at once definitely find another until with a higher processor in it. Also the menus are confusing af. Been trying to get a system debugg password and the seller has no idea what I'm talking about just says it's either 8888 or 0000 which it is not either nor many other combinations of numbers I tried. I bought this for my 09 Tahoe with the Bose amped DVD system. Also got the wiring harness from Crutchfield to make the install as easy as possible. Everything worked well and the screen looks great. However the head unit wasn't compatible with my Amp system so the volume was low and my sub wouldn't be loud enough either. I contacted the seller via email and they were great about trying to resolve the issue but unfortunately they couldn't fix the problem for me.
