For the money, this tablet will work. The screen resolution is not impressive, but will play 1080P youtube videos at an acceptable quality. Everything on the tablet works - which was surprising considering the price. Battery life is decent and will vary depending on your usage. The tablet is not fast, but for the price it doesn't feel slow either. I believe this is a good starter tablet for a child as something to watch YouTube or play lightweight mobile games with.

We have several laptops and tablets in our household but we prefer not to travel with the larger ones, especially on the 1- or 2-day trips. As I also dislike using my cell phone to check emails or surf the net, I initially obtained this one to do so when away from home and wanted something easy to carry, but with a larger screen than a cell phone. This one works moderately well but is a little slow. I do consider it as a disposable device and as such do not want to allow it to store or access any personal information so if lost, no real harm. However it forced me to sign on to my Google/Gmail account to do any updates or even view a YouTube video. It then connected and downloaded my personal Calendar and Contacts which I didn't actually want on this device. I will be passcode protecting it before I leave home with it. The tablet is shipped with absolutely no information, instructions or user guides other than a small note on how to do a "System Reset". The is a User Guide File shown on the screen however I could not get it to open. The tablet arrived 95% charged and took 15 minutes to get to 100% plugged into a USB port on my backup battery supply. Although it immediately recognized my Wi-Fi network, initially it refused to connect. On the third attempt, it did. Setup was a slow process. As expected, the sound quality from the tablet speakers is poor. However keep in mind that it's not an iPad, Samsung Galaxy or even a Kinder Fire, so there shouldn't be a direct comparison in performance as you're not paying the same either. For the price, and limited use, this is not a bad product if you remember you get what you pay for. I do take price into account in my ratings.
