  • Good product, but misleading. The words Decontaminate is confusing people
I have used andis Cool care for years. I was looking for a non aerosol version when I came across blade care. However there is one thing missing from this product. It does not clearly define if it is a disinfectant or not.The word Decontaminate is very misleading (1of the 7 in one features). I think it’s really 5 in 1 with 2 things they made up to pretend there were 7. So the product contains p-chloro-m-xylenol which is a disinfectant, but they chose the word decontaminate, which can have dozens in interpretations. So yes, andis if you read this you are truly confusing people, just look at the comments. vitamin e enriched, why does a clipper need vitamin E. It for the clipper, not for hair applications. And last, deodorizer? If it’s clean, and ‘decontaminated’ what is the deodorizer for, or do they really mean they added a scent. I think it is a good product but the 7 in 1 is just a stretch to improve upon the Cool Care 5 in1 ... show more

  • Greasey, c'mon ANDIS.
It's the best I could do the time so I had to get it anyways because I went had completely run out of Lake cleaner and anywhere and trying to get some was all out I tried ordering it back order so I settled for this and by product just comes out 13th of my clipper blades I guess that leaves are very oily residue behind and yes you need to clean your voice really well after using it ... show more

  • Oil and Cleaner in One
This product cleans and lubricates blades with ease. It also smells pleasant.

  • Very lubricating..Horrible scent!
Very lubricating (little greasy). Flows out easily. Maybe the spray nozzle could have been designed better so that fingers dont slip while using. The smell is very off putting. Bought this to replace the can (air spray) version but the can version does a better job

  • Not superior to the spray
I've been using the spray (in the compressed can) and saw the reviews for this one. Many reviewers made it sound like this was an objectively superior product. I actually like the canned version better. This one is more oily more sticky more messy... but most importantly ... I like the force with which the other one comes out. The force of the compressed can liquid cleans better as it pushes the little tiny hairs out of the blades. This one on the other hand sprays out like a normal spray bottle and it doesn't do as well of a job. Despite being slicker, I don't think it's better than the canister at all. If you can afford it, I'd recommend using the can THEN using this one. If you don't want both, I'd argue that the canister version is more practical and versatile. ... show more
