The light is a beautiful addition to our kitchen.The installation was easy with the exception of one thing, both wires on the light fixture are the same color. There is no obvious way to know which one to connect to the black wire and which to connect to the white wire coming out of the electrical box. I took my best guess and connected the wire on the fixture with the black text on it to the black house wire and I was right. If they could clarify this in the instructions it would make this light fixture perfect! It is very nice light fixture made of very good quality. Nice looking fixture, but overpriced. There are fixtures that look very similar for half of what this costs on Amazon. I paid more for this one because of the good reviews and the “you get what you pay for” theory. But upon inspecting the product, I quickly realized that, in this particular case, I could have got the same thing for half the price. Oh well, live and learn. The product looks nice. The bulb being used is the one that came with the light. Surprisingly, it does not provide enough light for a small utility room. It was necessary to order a different light.
