Was unable to assemble because of poor manufacturing and misalignment of parts. I spent hours and ultimately had to return it. Two pieces just wouldn't fit together properly. The seller's return instructions were also defective: the return label was to China (!) - from the US. Had to call Amazon Customer support... at least three times... Ultimately - after weeks of emailing and sending them the receipt for shipping the defective item back them - the seller refused to pay for the return shipping costs (!) and Amazon had to cover the difference. The seller asked me several times to take down this review and offers Amazon gift cards to purchasers if they give 5 star reviews. Beware, beware, beware!!! ... show more

Just second day of used and started with noises! First day was great and not noisy at all, but the second day was noisy and wiggly. I feel so frustrated!

    • Don't waste your time or money.
I don't even know where to begin with expressing my displeasure at buying this item. I suppose the first thing I should mention is that in no way does this Eliptical resemble what they are advertising here. The resistance levels all feel the same and the weight limit is extremely misleading. I am 250 lbs and my wife is 125, and for both of us the machine proved unstable, with the back end literally coming up off the ground as we pedaled. The stride length is very short and for me it was very uncomfortable to use and my strides didn't feel natural at all. The heart rate monitor didn't work, as in the screen would come on but it was never able to measure my pulse. Brinymo also includes a card that promises a $50 gift card if you give them a positive review, which is why I imagine so many people have rated them favorably on this and other products. Brinymo isn't the only seller of this junk either, Amazon is rife with these Chinese companies. Due to all of this, I requested a return and this is where my nightmare began. Over half a dozen calls to amazon and over a dozen e-mails back and forth with both the seller and the A-to-Z team and I still don't have a refund at the time of this writing over a month later. First the company wanted me to ship it to China, on my own dime mind you. Any idea how much it costs to ship something like this internationally? At over 80 lbs, just shipping it to California from Arizona cost me over $100 USD. I asked them for a prepaid shipping label, or better yet to have UPS come pick it up since it was so heavy and bulky but they ignored me and offered a $50, then $100, and finally a $200 discount to try and get me to keep the thing. Honestly I wouldn't have wanted to keep it even if they refunded me without even asking for it to be returned. Amazon couldn't force them to refund the item without it being returned and assured me I would be refunded for my shipping so I ultimately paid the fee and sent it back to them only for Brinymo to switch tactics and offer a full refund if only I would withdraw my A-to-Z claim. I refused, as Amazon advised me it could not be reopened once I voluntarily withdrew it despite what Brinymo claimed. As of today, Brinymo has had the item for over 72 hours but I still don't have my refund. So take my advice, if you want to buy something like this either do it from a reputable American company or buy it in person. The hassle of having to return such a heavy, bulky item online is seriously not worth the hassle and I have no doubt companies like Brinymo count on this fact when they sell their garbage, hoping that not providing a label, asking for us to ship it to china, and offering a partial refund might be enough to let them get away with their scam.     • Poorly engineered major component parts
The tensioning cable fitting was too short to joint the base and upper assembly piece. When bolted together, the upper assembly piece was not vertical and the axel for the handle bars was at least 1/2 inch too short. In short, a poorly engineered and manufactured unit.     • It wobbles, has a short stride, and you can't return it...
I'm a big guy (6'5") and I bought this because it had a higher weight limit (390lbs) compared to most other ellipticals in this price range, this was a mistake. I didn't mind that it took several hours to put together, but as others have said the tension band was incredibly difficult to attach. Once together, I got on and found that I can barely move. The stride is so short that it puts all the pressure on my knees, which is the opposite of the purpose of an elliptical. It doesn't matter which tension level I put it on, it's difficult to pedal/stride, and when I do get going it wobbles from side to side. Not to mention that I am under the weight limit, the metal bar where your feet go bends beneath me when I get on and looks like it will eventually snap. I wanted to return it immediately and went back to the Amazon listing and noticed there was no return policy listed. As others have said, you will get the run around for weeks and they will want you to pay to ship it around the globe to return it. This was a ridiculous waste of time and money. If you're going to pay $400 for an elliptical you can do much, much better than this. ... show more

This product is unbeatable for the price. It took my sons about an hour and a half to install the whole thing and it is very compact; it fits right in my bedroom. I love how quiet it is and the adjustable resistance. All in all good purchase I would recommend.

Assembly took about an hour. and assembled without issue. I get a great workout - much harder workout than my incumbent bike. I am looking forward to building greater endurance and getting healthier in the new year. Thank you for a great product!

    • disappointed
the instructions had a lot of english-translation issues, but was still legible. the machine isn’t a smooth strider, for sure. it’s clunky and wobbly, and the display screen doesn’t work on mine, but so not worth disassembling and trying to figure out shipping back :/
