    • It's a great e-bike...
I bought this ebike from my grandson, it came on time and it was easy for him to assemble. The directions were very easy to follow. He loves it. He's basically rides it all day, wherever he needs to go, the bike goes with him. He have told me that's this is the best present I ever have given him. It's the perfect size for him. He says it's very comfortable and it's not heavy at all. He says that it drives smoothly, it goes up the hills wonderfully and it breaks beautifully has no problem with his brakes.He has told me that he doesn't charge his batteries for at least 3 days so the battery life last very long, and it doesn't take that long to charge the batteries. It gives him the choice of using the battery or manually,which he does both. I like it because he is getting out more, instead of being locked in his room playing video games. He has lost his keys a couple of days ago. I have contact the company to see if they could give him a replacement key. The company was so helpful and very understanding that they helped with my situation. I'm so grateful that they got back to me as soon as possible. They fixed my problem with the lost key. These bikes offer a lot for the price! You can easily spend twice as much but this bike offers a lot for $530! The cruise control is incredible and a little scary the first time it kicks in! This bike rides like a dream and it already has close to 100 miles on it. It makes bike rides with the family so nice and more enjoyable. After 26 miles of riding on the C&O canal this bike still had 1 bar left on the battery. Depending on how you ride it I’m sure some could ride with petal assist well over 30 miles. The speedometer and info screen takes a little to get use too-look up the user manual for details. The disk breaks are ok but could be improved. Additionally rain/mud guards would be nice additions to this bike. One ride on the seat is one too many. It’s terrible! Buy a new comfortable one the same day you buy this bike. ... show more

It was easy to put together. Had to ensure all other nuts and bolts was tight did find some loose. rear derailer needed adjusted. But this all that you can expect with a bike out of the box. Being my first e bike it is nice way to get started into riding them. I have gotten great range out of it on my first 20 mile ride on it using the lowest setting for assist when used it. I got back to my car with 75 percent of battery power left. It moves really well when you give it the throttle on the motor. keep in mind the throttle only works if you are set to 0 for ride assist level. ... show more

    • Battery died after 7 months
Chinese junk. I've had it for about 9 months / 700 miles, use it for my daily commute. Right out of the box, it needs upgrades... seat is hard as a rock and tires are cheap chinese garbage. Brakes were mushy and squeaky. LCD screen totally unreadable during the day. After a few months, even became unreadable at night due to blown crystals in the screen. Headlamp not bright at all and very small area of illumination. You get what you pay for, I guess. After spending about$300 to upgrade the tires, seat, lights, controller, and install a cargo rack on the back, I was FINALLY happy with the bike. It performed really well and survived a day of heavy travel where I really put it to the test. Everything seemed great, and I never rode it more than 5-10 miles a day. Then the battery died suddenly and with no warning. Customer support is virtually non-existent with this company. Amazon links to their customer support return 404 errors. Support phone number just brings you to a voicemail box in California that is full so you can't leave a message. After multiple calls, I finally spoke to a live, American human, who informed me that she is literally the only person that answers calls there. I was told that the best she could do was forward my request to their HQ in China, and to wait 48 hours for a response. I'm obviously not holding my breath on that one. Have sent a warranty request via email and still haven't received a response days later. Now I'm stuck with a dead bike... this bike is too heavy on it's own to pedal without a working motor. I will update this review depending on how the warranty process plays out. Spend a few more bucks and get something a bit better. The quality of this product is obviously not good enough for anything other than light, occasional use. *UPDATE* The company eventually honored my warranty claim, but made me jump through multiple hoops to get it. It took WEEKS of back and forth with the warranty department. They only operate during Chinese business hours (9pm - 5am M-F here in east coast USA) so getting a response always took at least a day. I had to provide multiple pics and videos of the issue before they finally admitted my diagnosis was correct and agreed to send me a replacement battery. All told, it was almost 6 weeks between when the battery died and when I finally got the replacement, due to the shipment coming from China. Had a new battery not been $200+, I would have just bought a new one. Moral of the story - this company moves at a pace that can only be described as "glacial". Should you have to make a warranty claim, you're probably better off paying to fix it yourself unless an almost 6 week wait time is OK with you. ... show more

Received order on time as described. I purchased two of these bikes at a great price! Assembly is simple and straightforward! These bikes really move fast I got 22 to 25 miles per hour with just twist and go and 28 mph with the pas system. I am 270 lb the bikes carrying me at those beach with no problem. I'm truly happy with my purchase and if you're looking for an electric bike at a great price at a fraction of what others are charging you won't be sorry if you buy an Ancheer. ... show more

I have put 750 miles on the bike in 11 months. It has been reliable. A couple of weeks ago it developed an electrical problem; when I reached out to Ancheer they quickly responded and supplied a new battery to solve the issue.
