First of all: Small foot print. Takes up little space. Light weighing. Very easy to move and store. Great Spaces. It has trays that make sense as they are spaced correctly. Easy to see inside. The glass oven door lets you see your progress inside. Our other was opaque and could not easily see progress. Live on land that is almost a third acre. Instead of having lawn in back, we converted everything to several containers for gardening. G/F loves to garden and well... I love to eat good fresh healthy food. The pictures here have peaches, tomatoes of a few varieties maybe another fruit. should be ready to taste by the time you read this. Previously she dried several herbs and the house smelled like an Italian restaurant. It was a great smell and wow was I hungry later!!! Made some toast bread with smeared tomato with olive oil and her spices with a light sprinkle of cheese. Light sprinkle only because we didn't have enough to make it more pizza-ish. Home run acquisition with this dehydrator. She almost donated the other one... then decided to use both of them. This one seems to do a better job with oregano, thyme, basil and such. the other one wasn't. She will use this one more as it is quicker too, and use the other one out in the patio as it generates more heat than this one. Heat being that it gives off too much heat into the room/kitchen. This one keeps the heat more inside the dehydrator and that is why she says the herbs are drying better and tastier! If you have a great garden, you definitely should consider this one. OH, it has the mats that go on the racks to keep the proper heat on the food being dehydrator. Our last one didn't have this quality of mat, didn't come with, so she had to find a solution. She loves this one! ** Update. This dehydrator works from the rear of the unit towards the front of the unit. Because of the shelf design, this is more efficient than those that heat/dehydrate from the bottom up. That is the type of unit we previously used. First batch of our cherry tomatoes and large tomatoes were absolutely delicious! ... show more

    • 30 Day Results: Tons Of Settings And Features!
This dehydrator is great, although I must admit it's about twice as big as what I need and expected, so I had to create a large enough storage space for when it's not in use. Let's talk about the food though! At first, I figured I would use this to dehydrate peppers and make cooking powder. But then I realized you could make jerky. About 10 batches and flavors later, I finally had to stop as I had vacuum-sealed like 10 bags full of love. This has exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get into the jerky game! Just make sure you have room for this bad boy! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First of Please change the name of this company, because we can not stop laughing at amazon gotcha fk tech. The manual is definitely in need of a lot of work. No recipe book was provided, instead you have to scan a QR code. (Not A Huge Fan of That). The manual definitely needs some better descriptions of the parts and where they go. This machine does get hot so you will need a lot of space around it in order to cook. Please read all of the directions for this machine before using it. I would also wipe it down with some hot soapy water on the inside and then wipe it dry before first use. Then I Highly recommend baking it for 30 minutes on high before first use with food. Other than that this works great and we use it all the time. It definitely holds more than the old school round ones and I like the air flow of this one more too. One last note: let it cool down for an hour in between batches and don’t run the machine longer than 48hrs with out a day of rest. ... show more
