I have been wearing these shorts for several years now and they still look and feel as good as when I initially got them in, which definitely speaks to the quality of the fabric and the stitching. The fit is true to size and the two front and one back pocket are definite pluses.

For reference: I am 6'3", 250 lbs, athletic build I typically wear a 36/32 in men's jeans, but size up to a 38/32 with a belt in order to accommodate my thighs which are larger than "standard" due to weight training. I picked these shorts out as a gym option in the hopes that they would be compatible with CrossFit training and I have not been disappointed. I ordered a grey and black pair in XXL and the waist fits well, (With the broad drawstring which ties securely, they can be a little large and not have a problem) The actual leg portion of the shorts is, as reported in other reviews, considerably longer than what you may normally expect if you are accustomed to traditional American sizing. For me, both pairs fell well below the knee and only expose the patella during a full squat. That isn't necessarily a drawback for me, but it is somewhat unconventional. The quality of the fabric is certainly as good as needed, especially considering the price point. The cut of both shorts were consistent as well, but the gray shorts feel considerably softer than the black shorts upon first trial. I assume it has something to do with the dying process and I am hopeful that the black pair softens after a few washings. All in all - very happy with this purchase and a quality product well worth the money.

Comfort ribbing waistband, these men's shorts are now Hubby's favorites ! Well-constructed, (I'm a seamstress so I really look things over..) nice dark navy color (hides smudges), true fit. Shorts are a tad longer but still above the knee. Hip pocket on each side plus open patch pocket on back. Gentle elastic and drawstring to adjust the sizing. Fabric does have some stretch to it as well, like tshirt fabric. They look up-market, even for shorts !

Great shorts. Sturdy. Thick. Comfy. I bought a green pair and a blue pair. My size is probably xl but i got xxl because i wanted a little baggier. 100% cotton. My skin reacts to other materials. These are my comfy, around the house shorts. Love them.

I am a person that is typically very uncomfortable with fancy clothes. I’ve hated them all my life. Came across these 28 years in and they are a Godsend. Super comfortable, they pass as khakis for a business casual look, and best of all - cotton (synthetics in most shorts lower testosterone and fertility). Someone complained about how they’re a bit wide, but I love that. I can spread my legs out and my shorts don’t automatically crush my baby makers because there’s extra space. They look great. You definitely wont regret it and I’m about to order enough so I can wear them every day. I’m 6 ft 200lbs and have the XL, but I like a bit of a looser fit. 5/5 strongly recommend!

i would have given higher but I want a 9" inseam and on there add you have to look all over and at the bottom I see it says 9'' inseam so I got it and its 10'' inseam. yes, that makes a difference. other than that, they seem nice.
