4.99 stars. It seals you in so well, it gets a little warmer than the stock foam. Also, the PU leather grabs onto your skin and stays put. This is both good and bad. It makes for a perfect seal, but the weight of the headset causes it to tug down on your skin a little bit. It might take an extra moment to get that perfect fit at the start, but once have it, it's very comfortable for long periods. All but eliminates light leakage for me. The nose adapter works much better than the stock one.

I specifically picked this one because of the material. I previously had a cloth bracket which would feel like a wet sponge due to sweating. This one is great because it doesn't absorb water, I just have to wipe it down occasionally. The only minor part that could be a little better are the magnets that keep it in place. They're a little weak and when putting the headset on or off, the bracket has a tendency to pop off. But it stays on just fine when the headset is on, so it's not a deal breaker for me.

I got this because my glasses are too wide to fit the original face interface, and this does fix that issue, the extra space on the sides fits glasses okay enough. But the actual cushion isn’t very comfy, the edges are really stiff and dig into your face, and that goes for both the thin and thick version. On top of that, the top of the interface doesn’t line up with the headset exactly, there’s two small gaps around the magnets which leak a bit of light in. Not a huge deal but overall, it’s just not a great product.

Worth the money and upgrade. Product feels cheap but overall better imo. The oem faceplate on the index had small light leakage around my noes but this product removes it. Very easy to wipe clean.

OK so this replacement face gasket feels fine when you're using it, but the unit has a major flaw. The magnets they used to hold it plastic to the Index are so weak, it comes lose and falls away from the index almost every time you take it off, or place it down on a surface. There is some risk you could scratch or otherwise damage a lens with this thing because it doesn't hold in place properly. I switched back to the stock face piece and it holds on solid no matter what. Can't say I'm happy with this at all.

Yah. There's a large gap form where my nose and the nose piece are at. It stinks to be honest. I feel that the original is more comfortable than this leather one.

It is what it is. There are plenty like it. Hard to use with a silicone cover. Good to swap out for multiple people. Extra pad fits me. Slim pad fits my roommate with glasses. Feels so much better. If you have discomfort or eye strain try one of these.
