Features

  • Car audio amplifier 450 watts RMS at 2-ohm load (14.4v); 300 watts RMS at 4-ohm load (14.4v);
  • Class D - Power loss is significantly reduced making the amplifier highly efficient. Excess energy is stored until its needed instead of being converted into heat. Reduction in size/weight, reduced power waste, smaller heat sink, compact circuitry
  • 2-4 Ohm Stable - Able to continuously power loads of 2-4 Ohm without encountering difficulties such as overheating. Typically made to power up subwoofers that demand the heavier power load requirements to be able to perform the way they were made to
  • Engineered to be the most efficient car monoblock amplifier in its class so that you can get the most out of your vehicles electrical system
  • MOSFET pulse width modulated power supply and proprietary heat dissipation design will ensure the amplifier for car subwoofers runs cool for even the most demanding playlists

  • Compact and all I needed!
Powers my 10 inch home theater car subwoofer with the right amount of power. Easy to adjust gain controls and is powered by a 12 volt power supply I also reviewed on here. Great match of power, small and compact. Well worth the money. Sound quality is punch and perfect for my subwoofer. Took 10 minutes to install and works great! ... show more

  • Surprisingly capable amp
The amp does work and works very well for the size and the price. It's strong enough to push 2, 12 inch subs. The only thing to note which I did not till after purchase is the fact that this amp does not have a bass boost feature. The adjustment knob works well but the bass is limited to out of the head unit/radio. ... show more

  • Good for now.
Just installed today so we’ll see how long it last. Hits my 12” really hard and I only have the bass knob up half way and this sub was used on a different and bigger amp also. Used with a factory radio and with a kicker line out converter with the auto on feature with rca cables. Has plenty of power and output and didnt try the amp inputs because I already had this setup. Make sure to play around with the knobs I think all the way to the left was the setting for a sub high and low frequency. ... show more

  • Incredible for the money
I have a mid-size crossover currently, had no sub from the factory. I'm a high end snob, I'm very much so into the clarity and accuracy of audio reproduction in the car-audio segment of things. I built a 1 1/4 cuft. box, slapped a nice woofer I had laying around into it, I set the gain and crossover with my D'Amore Engineering DD-1 and CC-1. I'm pushing this thing into a 2 ohm load, and let me tell you. With a good box, good woofer, good settings, and a good power supply, this thing absolutely slams. For reference, I had a similar setup with a Rockford Fosgate P300X1, which on a dyno makes around 300W burst into 2 ohms, this does the same for... a sixth the price? Now, that's all fine and dandy, but how's the audio quality? It's great, it's really great. I can't believe how clean the output is for how cheap this thing is. There's super low noise floor (noise that escapes the class D filtering and makes it to the output). It's absolutely shocking for the price, I really can't describe it any other way. I would appreciate the company producing this product, if they'd take this feedback, as these simple things would make this amplifier significantly better. 1. Power inputs should be larger, 8 AWG. 10AWG basically doesn't exist... 2. Remove the high pass crossover, make it only have a low pass. 3. Increase the jack size of the bass knob. The jack on the amplifier is smaller than on the bass knob. 4. Increase internal fuse size, and change ratings to include 1 ohm testing. This amplifier works fine at 1 ohm, gives me and others no problems at 1 ohm, even with 35A fuse. It would be nice if it was equipped for it from the factory, and it meets its rated power at 1 ohm! Extra details too; The company that makes this amp, ALSO makes "AUDIOZERONE" and they have the "PLINIUS" brand trademarked as well as the other, in the US. So these will likely be their brands going forward. They are a China based company, which in this case is a good thing, as they are a manufacturing company selling directly to the consumer, this means that they are able to sell at a significantly lower price than everyone else. From an engineering perspective; Overall looks good. There are a plethora of low-ESR capacitors inside the amplifier. They're of a cheaper brand, but this is alright in this case as it looks like for reliability purposes, they put way, way more than necessary. These also help reduce input and output noise. Notably though, the caps are rated to 50V, which means the power rail is likely running around 35-45V, which is very, very nice for an amp this small, as it helps it make a lot more power in a compact size. The power components are made by TSD semiconductor, a Beijing based company, very reputable for their quality too, which is a good indicator components were picked with the best ones where they matter. The output frequency filter is also of high quality, made by CODACA, it is a CPCF2919 model, high current type. Very, very good quality for the price, CODACA components are very good, usually not a known name due to them mostly being used for OEM applications. Thermals; Semiconductors are mounted to a common rail with thermal paste, this rail is then mounted to the case, lots of metal between the semiconductors and the atmosphere allows for more heat to be transferred directly into solid metal, this works well for high power applications. This is a low power, high efficiency application, the amplifier will literally never overheat unless you seal it in a thermally isolated box or an oven, or whatever equivalent you find out how to do in a car. What I'm trying to say is; you're going to have to really mess up or try to overheat this thing, very thermally efficient. This also bodes well for longevity, as it means all components will run cooler, and electrolytic capacitors love running cooler. Overall, very well built, very good sound quality, shocking price. I hope to see more from this company at this price point, as it will severely disrupt the market and make every manufacturer become more competitive. ... show more

  • Amp
Nice little amp the only down side is terminals aren't that great too small to hold 4gauge or 8 gauge wire

  • Not ready for the big leagues
Pros: Size and power efficiency by far are the best things about the amp. I didn’t have a lot of install room so I was hoping this would work well. Cons: Terrible Class-D EMI interference with my radio tuner (FM reception would drop every time the beat of the music would hit / Bluetooth was fine but some people do still use their radio tuners these days…Low and High Level inputs need way more gain…Auto Sensing of High Level Inputs was useless as they just powered the amp non-stop which would have killed the vehicle battery…The remote bass knob’s female input jack was intermittent / wiggle the back of the cord lightly and it would work for a moment. Huge waste of time. ... show more

To make you decision easier, ask yourself these important questions: Is this an unbelievable value? Yes. Do you care where it’s made? Probably not. Is it well built and well designed? Yes. Is 185 amps at 4 and 280 at 2 ohms enough to drive a 6, 8, 10, or even 12” budget sub? Yes. Is it incredibly compact and will it fit anywhere? Yes. Is it class D and super efficient? Yes. Does it overheat and can you use it as a seat warmer ? No. Does it sound good? Yes. Is it worth it to pay double or more for an additional 10 to 15 more amps? No. In short, if you’re on a tight budget and need a super small but effective amp-this is an amazing value. ... show more

  • Perfect amp to power a JL Audio Stealth Box
Super compact and works great to power a single JL Audio Stealth Box. Only thing that was different from the pictures was the controls. Mine has a level adjust, LPF adjust, and an LPF on/off switch. Still works great and very happy with my purchase. Remote bass control switch is also super compact and works great. Simple to install and great value. ... show more
