My grandson LOVES this truck! He took it to a section of the beach where there are lots of rocks and tidal pools, and it handled it really well. It was even able to spin itself out of the water when it was floating! (He needs to learn how to steer it a little better...). Tons of fun - great gift! The battery life was okay. I think he'll eventually learn to conserve that a bit better in time (e.g. not turning it upside down and just letting the tires spin for no reason!).

We bought this for our grandson who absolutely loves it. He is 5, and he had no problem learning how to control it. He likes to make it flip and jump things and run off ramps, and the truck is holding up great. We have a rough and rocky yard, and it does great bouncing among the rocks and holes.

As both a remote control car fan and a dad, I'm always on the lookout for a cool new RC toy that can handle different terrains and provide hours of entertainment. This amphibious RC car definitely delivers on both fronts! Right out of the box, I could tell this was a high quality RC. The waterproof design allows it to seamlessly transition from land to water play. My kids had a blast driving it off ramps and doing 360 spins on dry land before splashing it into the pool and surfing it across the water. The 4WD setup and treaded tires let it power over grass, dirt, sand and more, living up to the all terrain claim. It was impressive to see it tackle such different conditions with ease. Flipping between front and back is just a button away for even more stunt fun. The 2.4GHz remote means multiple cars can run together without interference, which led to epic races at our house. The double-sided water running prevented any stalled fun, since it can flip over and keep on surfing. With two included rechargeable batteries, the 20 minutes of run time per charge provides plenty of play. If you're looking for one versatile RC car that can handle water and land for limitless fun, this amphibious car is it. It's durable, high-performing, and kept both my kids and their friends entertained for hours. I'd highly recommend it for any RC fan or family seeking a new outdoor toy.

November 2022: Bought this for my two year old who’s obsessed with monster trucks. He’s had three of the monster jam branded ones from Walmart. Those Walmart ones break at the axles very easily and the aaa batteries run dead every ten minutes. Those “New Bright” rc trucks break within a week.. This one however; he’s beaten it, dropped it, drowned it, you name it.. it’s still driving around like it’s brand new. The battery in the truck is a bit hard to swap but it’s mainly because it’s fairly large capacity battery fit into a watertight compartment on the truck. I’ll take that trade off. The battery does last about 20 minutes of non stop action before dying. With the two batteries he’s been able to play with almost no charging breaks. I’ll be buying a few more of these trucks just in case this item becomes unavailable here and he is actually able to break this one. July 2023: truck still going strong with absolutely zero issues. My now 3 year old and 1 year old boys like to drive it straight off the couch, straight off the kitchen counters, etc just to watch it crash onto the ground to see if it’ll flip and land on its wheels. If they’re intermittently throttling it and randomly driving it around the battery actually lasts the whole day. I find that the only times I have to change a fully dead battery is when they go to bed and leave it on. Since it comes with a second battery though I just swap the dead for fresh in the morning and they’re good to go. Updating this review because I’m buying a second one right now. If I have to pick something as negative I’d say 1: the remote is where you’ll find that they cut the cost. I’ve never had any issues with it and that’s even with my youngest drowning it in the dog water bowl a few months ago. It was fine, I just pulled the batteries and let it dry out. 2: the remote is a digital on/off for both throttle and turning. It’s all or nothing. I have quite a few more hobbyist rc cars and it would be nice if this one had more control like those. This isn’t that big of a deal however since my boys don’t notice. They’d mash the throttle anyways!!
