I got this set to take with us to hotel swimming pools when we travel for my son's baseball team tournaments. His team consists of 12-13 year old boys. Hotels do not usually provide any toys for kids to play with in the pool, so this game came in handy and all the kids wanted in on it, including the younger siblings. They had a lot of fun with it and the best part is it's re-usable so you can take it with you next time. Between tournaments, it lives at the swimming pool we have at home where the kids have fun playing toss.

I got these for a vacation this summer with my family and my wife's family. Our many nieces and nephews played with this, but the teens got bored with it quickly and didn't use it again after the first time, except when I brought it to the swimming pool at the resort we'd rented a place at. Having a ball they can toss around a pool was fun for them, but out of the pool, they had no interest, preferring to throw around the baseball or go play pickleball. The younger kids loved it.

This game creates a way for us to be able to easily play catch together, with out me feeling like I have to know how to throw a baseball. We have had endless hours of fun with it. I love that it comes with 4 paddles and 4 balls. This allows a group of 4 or two groups of 2 to play, with no fights between the kids. We have played with it in the yard, as well as in the pool. The Velcro has held up, even with the use in the pool. The balls still stick to the pads great when they are wet. 5 stars.

Do you remember when we were kids (ok, I might be dating myself here) and our parents purchased something like this where the gloves were made with felt and the balls had the velcro around them? I do! I also remember the balls falling off right as it hit the paddle and as kids we eventually tossed them aside and just played catch. Well, here is the thing, the problem of the ball falling off the paddle has been solved!!!! I mean, it only took me until I was 38 years of age to find the product that works as designed and I might be slightly jealous that my kids have a much better experience with this than the relics of our past. The paddles themselves are made of plastic velcro, unlike the paddles of our youth, and no matter how far you throw the ball, IT STICKS and does not drop. There are enough paddles for two team of two people to play or one team of four. It's a great item for the kids, it defenitely feels like it's going to last, and I really appreciate the padding behind the paddle. The paddle is secured by a quality velco strip. These paddles are large enough for adults to play. Please don't judge the size of the paddle to my oversized mitts LOL, they are larger than the normal adult. :) If you want a reinvented (and better) experience from your youth for your kids, this is the perfect set to purchase.

I loved how these looked in the advertisement - the colors are vibrant and bright. I was a bit disappointed that the colors are sort of dull on the catching pads. These are appropriate in size for smaller hands. These would not be best suited for use by people with bigger hands as the catching pads are smaller than most sets I've had in the past. The Velcro works well and the ball is easy to throw. I am being fair in comparison shopping and the price is just too high at $26.99. Had I saw these in a store, I'd have passed them up.

This velco catch set is awesome - I love that it's for 4 people, not the usual 2 person set. The velcro is really nice - different than most, sort of a low plastic velcro that doesn't get junk caught in it. The ball sticks nicely to the paddles when you catch it. My whole family has a blast playing with it.
